Valhalla Custom Kydex Sheath Ka-bar Becker BK9 OD Two Piece

Great fit and finish on my Becker BK9. Also have one for my BK2. Wish they would make a kydex hanger with a TEK-LOK hole pattern for a lower ride.

I am kind of on the fence about wether or not to keep this sheath. It was expensive and there is a real safety concern.After sheathing the knife, I found it nearly impossible to remove it. I worry, that unless this sheath is tethered to MOLLE or to a belt, I might actually cut myself by trying to remove the knife from the sheath.I wish the manufacturer would have tested this sheath before sending it out it doesn't appear to be in spec or conformed to fit the knife it was "customized" to fit. Considering the price, the purchase was a disappointment. On and off today, (and I know how this sounds) I've been sheathing and unsheathing the knife and I think I've found a solution to get it to come out a bit easier. I also added some silicon lubricant (Not that personal kind) and that seems to have helped a bit.

Overall good Sheath, looks good and well made. Priced competitively. Holds BK9 securely with no rattle.

Often did not carry my bk9 because the stock sheath kept flapping with movement on the trails and got in the way. No regrets here; fits well with good positive click, is low profile and finished well. The belt "loop" however had many burs and scratched up my belt so may want to finish with some sandpaper before use; however I ended up using quick clips with a cant and couldnt be happier

No rattle, nice and tough, more made to use as a shoulder holster type sheath, but keeps my knife pretty and on my person.
