Vicorrect Posture Corrector for Women and Men, Adjustable upper back straightener posture corrector and Providing Pain Relief from Neck, Shoulder, and Upper Back (S/M)

After many years of severe upper back & shoulder pain caused by my bust size, which although not enormous, is big in proportion to my small body frame, I came across this brace and it's been nothing short of miraculous. Although otherwise physically fit & fully mobile, I'd reached the stage where my back & shoulders were so painful when I walked that every time I went out I had to find somewhere to sit and lean back & rest every few minutes - which resulted in me reluctant to even leave the house! Painkillers didn't do anything and who wants to be on those continuously? Even the most supportive sports bras didn't work as well as this. When my brace arrived, I followed the instructions religiously. I immediately found it very comfortable (S/M) and couldn't even feel I had it on, but didn't want to overdo it too soon so took it off after 30 mins & gradually increased the wearing times over the next couple of weeks. As expected (and it tells you this in the guide) the pain did worsen for a day so but I perservered & now there's so much improvement, it's amazing. I do supplement it with stretching exercises but not while I'm wearing it! The guide also tells you not to exercise with it on. I wear it whenever I leave the house and now don't have to stop and rest my back at all. I'm hoping that eventually my muscles will be able to cope on their own. As it's winter at the moment, I wear it over a t-shirt with a sweater on top, not directly next to my skin. Many reviews say it cuts in under the arms, but if it does, all you need to do is just sew the straps in a bit to make them narrower (see image.) Neoprene fabric does have a slight odour but it's hardly noticeable to me and imo a very small trade-off to be finally free of many years of pain. I've just ordered a second one. For anyone deciding whether to get one, this is my take: *Buy the correct size or it won't be comfortable. *Follow the guide exactly and don't leave it on too long at first *Look carefully at how it adjusts - it's fully adjustable in 3 places - ribcage and both shoulder straps. *There's no need to torture yourself & cut off your circulation by pulling it too tight! It can be comfortable & still work! *Don't wear it at the gym (like one reviewer here did.) *Be patient - Rome wasn't built in a day.

It's good at keeping your posture in check. The only thing I found was if wearing for more an hour at a time it can rub under the arms. It would benefit from a little padding there. I'm going to place a little bit there to see if it stops the rubbing. Maybe I didn't buy one big enough 🤔 but it was comfortable other than that 😊

The brace is OK. I had to line the material as it chaffed. It bunches around the armpits. Having said that it does give ypu a straight posture.

I've had a neck injury (similar to whiplash) and because of ongoing issues I tend to hunch. I've been looking for something that would help with my posture. I’ve tried other products, but always find the straps dig in under my arms and make me sore. I thought I would try Vicorrect posture corrector. This certainly helps and because of the shape and design the is no discomfort under my arms. The straps are curved and shaped to give comfort and support. The underarm straps do end up doubling over slightly but this is still the most comfortable I have tried, because of the fabric composition. I feel supported and there is a noticeable difference when I wear the corrector. I have immediate relief in my neck and back, and I am standing upright. Do take the advice and start with wearing it for 30 minutes a day and slowly increase the daily wearing time, you will then feel and notice the benefits. I'm a UK size 14, and after reading other reviews I ordered the L/XL, but realised after a couple of days it was too big for me. I contacted the company and they have sent me the smaller size free of charge. Really great and quick customer service! The cost is not a big outlay, so if you have any doubt, just try it, I think you will be happy with the results.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Please be cautious with this! I bought this as suffered an aching neck and thought would help with posture. Unfortunately, after using this for few weeks I became in alot of pain in my shoulder and couldn't lift my arm behind me and I was in so much pain I went and ended up having mri, I had suddenly got shoulder buritus! I asked how I could get thus and was advised overuse or having shoulder in certain position for too long. Im not saying this is what caused it but its the only thing I was doing differently. Several months later im on high pain relief and suffering alot. Just please be careful with using this. As mentioned I don't know this caused it but its all I was using to try to help my posture. Honestly im in so much pain now id never use anything like this again, just in case. Its possible its coincidence but there is nothing they can do for my shoulder other than medication and I've had no improvement months later. Please be sure you need it beside buying and pls pls don't force your body into a position for too long!!!

Very good quality product. Just unfortunate it digs into my arm pits so unable to use.

As soon as I put it on I felt better. I could feel the support and it is the first one that I am very comfortable with. It soft, not stiff where it cuts into you, but supportive. I would recommend this to anyone. I really could wear this all day, but not suppose to only tree hours per day. It definite reminds you to sit up straighter and it is so comfortable. It also helps with my lower back because of the correct positions it put your spine in. I love it.
