Sewing Kit with Storage Box

I don’t have room for my sewing machine in my tiny Apt. So having a sewing kit on hand is a must! I had a tiny little basic kit but it was running low and worn. This is the perfect size and just the right balance of quality and cheap lol. The thread spools are big and most of the items seem of good quality. Even the thimble ring was surprisingly thicker than expected. Although it only fits on my thumb, I’ll need a regular thimble for my index finger.The case itself is really good quality for the price! And it has enough room for me to add things when/if needed.*I am experienced with sewing machines and sewing tools. I’m using this for basic home maintenance. Mending holes, tears and wears in family clothing and such.

Keep in mind that most sewing kits have very subpar threads in them. Which is why I purchased this kit for all of the accessories. As well as for the case to put them all in. I bought black and white thread from Clarks & Coats and replaced all of the useless threads with quality threads. Now, it's the perfect little kit!

Case is cute and functional. I bought small scissors to add as it has none. Comes with a lot of thread! All other items such as pins, needles, pincushion seem to be really cheap. It would be better with less thread such as black, white, navy and tan only and better pins. I do think that this gift for my college age Grandaughter will be helpful to her. It also comes with tiny buttons and I intend to add a few medium size ones to it

Review by wife of average Bob: Came in pink case. Not what I was expecting based on how advertised and pictured in the ad. I am not a fan of the color pink but I'll probably survive. The scissors are unimpressive but will cut a piece of thread. The pin cushion is super small but will hold a few pins. Yes, finding the start of the thread on the spools is challenging. Wasted a few feet of thread on one spool before could unravel a piece for sewing purposes. Needles are super tiny which means the eye is super tiny. I was able to thread needles but it wasn't easy. I would say all in all this kit will probably get the small mend and repair jobs done. There are a lot of different items in the kit but some are pretty cheaply made so I'm not sure how they will stand up over time. For the money the value isn't really there which is why I'm giving this 3 stars.

It’s very cute but the flap inside was unglued. Nothing you can’t fix though
