Children's Illustrated Atlas Review: Perfect for a 6 year old - I gifted this book to my granddaughter so that she can keep track of where grandma and grandpa are traveling. She loved tracing her finger along the squiggly lines on some of the pages and we talked about some of the countries. She recited the continent rhyme several times, and was easily able to point out the shape of each continent. She was able to read some of the info, and her reading comprehension is improving by leaps and bounds, so she’ll be coming back to this book many times. Review: Colorful! Very Kid Friendly! - We bought this to help us with our homeschooling lessons. Every time we talked about a new place I wanted them to be able to see it up close. Our maps on the wall are nice, but not really great for mapping certain cities or areas. The computer works great too, but for young kiddos a physical map is just a little more interesting. This atlas is very colorful! My kids loved looking at the different pages that have both bright colors for their maps and awesome photos of that particular country. It divided the world out by continent, then "larger area" (Northern Europe, the U.K. etc.) then by country. Amazing reference book and a must have for all home libraries!

Best Kids Atlas Out There (And Great For Adults Too!)
I was in the Netherlands last year and they had a lot of gorgeous world atlases for children. I bought a few (even though I can’t read Dutch) and ever since have been on a quest to find a comparable one in the United States. My search has ended with this atlas! It features lots of beautiful drawings and interesting historical facts. My 4-year-old who is interested in geography likes it a lot so far, and I may love it even more than her! I look forward to reading this with my children for many years to come!

Good start for geography
Good at all for kids starting to learn about geography and some facts about different countries. Wish all countries were listed would have been more beneficial but this is a good start for kids

Amazing book!
Bought this book by accident and have been so pleased with it. My 5 year old loves learning about places around the world. It’s so fun to hear her spouting out facts about Antarctica. Lots of great information and beautiful pictures!

Perfect for homeschool!
I just pulled my daughter out of public school, and we are starting an online form of homeschool in the fall. I quickly realized, even though shes going into 5th grade, the school has taught her absolutely nothing about geography. Not even the basics. I started to gather materials for our soon to be geography lessons, and I first settled on the National geographic version of the US atlas for kids. I'm usually a huge fan of their stuff, but this book missed the mark. Very boring. So when looking for a world atlas, I went ahead with this brand, and I am so glad I did. My daughter could barely put it down! She is so excited now everytime we do a new lesson. This is a nice hard back large book, perfect in every way. Also teaches about climate! Tons of other stuff as well. Comes with a world map poster, and it shows the country flags too. Very great book, we also bought the world animal atlas, also a great buy.
