TRANSFORMERS - Generations War For Cybertron - Kingdom Core Dracodon (F0668) Black

Bought as a toy to stand on my desk and play around with during breaks. Nice design and sturdy enough considering the price

Looking like the offspring of Vertebreak and Acid Storm, Dracodon, a new character introduced in the ‘War for Cybertron’ toy line, is a direct repaint of ‘Kingdom’ Vertebreak in a bright lime colourisation with gold highlights. Other than the colour scheme he is identical to Vertebreak in both modes and possesses the same transformation. Therefore, your interest in him would depend upon how much you thought of the Vertebreak mould and whether you find this colour scheme to be eye catching or eye watering. Either way, it manages to give him a very different look to Vertebreak despite them being the same mould. Whereas Vertebreak looked like old, fossilised remains, Dracodon is vibrant and unmissable. It’s a similar contrast to that between Paleotrex and the Skellivore (the Tyrannosaur Fossilizer available in the third Netflix spoiler pack alongside Megatron), but only more extreme. His golden highlights, although they break up his almost radioactive green glow, just add to his garishness. Such a deco, along with the horned, beaked head of a dracorex, somehow makes him look as if he should be a Pedacon/Decepticon but he is, in fact, a Maximal. It also still feels a little strange to me to have those sharing a mould be of different allegiances as this didn’t really happen in the in the original toy line. As Dracodon is invented for the ‘War for Cybertron’ range but never featured in the accompanying Netflix series, there is basically nothing known about his character or background to enlighten us. Obviously just like Vertebreak, he has a reasonable robot mode but a great, little altform. He also transforms in the traditional way rather than being a parts-former like the larger Fossilizers he resembles. This also means that he is the third Core Class figure not, perhaps, meant to be a scaled down version of a larger character.

My grandson was rather dissapointed.

J'ai acheter ce jouet si on peux appeler ça comme ça pour pâques, celle d'un garçon de 9ans. Voyants le prix je m’attendais a un cadeau de plus ou moins 25 ou 30 centimètres. NON. celui ci fais moins de 10 centimètres. J'ai du aller acheter un cadeaux de dernière minute. Il ressembles a un jouet acheter a moins de un euro. Je déconseille très fortement pour ne pas faire de petit malheureux. Première fois que j’écris un commentaire mais cela me semblais nécessaire afin d'éviter que d'autre personne se fassent piéger! Une honte, à fuir, dépenser votre argent dans autre chose.

Contrary to other reviews, size is perfect as it matches the description. It is small, but that is clearly stated. Nice core class figure that is very posable.

It was a gift for my grandson and he loves it
