Mercer Culinary 3.5" Carving Knife, Black

It is super tiny. I am not sure if you can call it a "carving knife" if you are not carving an ant or something like that. I can't use it as a paring knife either, because of its triangle geometry, it would be a thumb-piercer. I still enjoy the knife though, sometimes using it as a steak knife. It is sharp and pointy, what can go wrong? Be sure you check the dimensions well before you buy it.

Nicely made. Properly ground with a nice distal taper. Almost no flex in the blade even at the tip, maybe a good or bad thing depending on your needs.

Small pairing knife with a nice form to work with. Really sharp but gets dull fast. Sharpens easily. Definitely would recommend.

vert sharp out the box and stays sharp - holds a good edge - it is high carbon steel (not stainless steel) so dry it off after you use it.

Love it. Super sharp. Super versatile. A must have fit the knife bag.
