Q: Would I be able to pull up the weather conditions reporting at my home if I was on vacation elsewhere?

Absolutely! This station will allow you to stream the Atlas sensor data online to the My AcuRite and Weather Underground websites and apps so that you can remotely monitor your data. Q: Does the barometric pressure work properly at high altitudes?

Depends on. How high an altitude you are talking about. Seems to work at 4000 feet.

Q: So,will it work all over the globe?Specially in North Europe?

It should work just fine in Europe. You can adjust the settings from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The outdoor unit has its own network connection to communicate directly with the weather station display indoors.

Q: Does this station provide measures in IS (metric)?

Yes. When you set-up the display for the first time, you enter the correct date and time, and can select either imperial or metric measurements, and either Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature scale.
