This valve was a direct replacement of my fault one, easy to install with basic knowledge, shipped with correct parts. 4 months in and no more issues

Pretty hard to install this PRV without a union collar which is shown in all three pics.

Arrived 2 days early. It was easy to install once I managed to remove the old unit. I used teflon tape on the threaded pipe output and a little silicone grease on the input o-ring. No leaks. Preset pressure was 60 psi. Works perfectly and less expensive than local options.

Direct Replacement for N35B 3/4” regulator. Fits perfect. Special thanks to Andrew K from 2016. “ Nice affordable replacement for my N35B 3/4" regulator that was original to my house but discontinued.” Andrew’s review put me on a path to success.

I purchased this pressure regulator because it was identical to the old unit which made it simple to install. The product description was not clear exactly what was included in the package, so I have attached a picture of the parts (first photo). There were two different sized O-rings. One fits the threaded end of the regulator, and the smaller one fits the adapter. It would have been nice if the regulator included a set of two large O-rings for my situation. I didn't need the half union parts because they were already part of the installation (second photo). I had to reuse one of the old O-rings to install the regulator, but so far, no leaks. I gave the product 4 stars for two reasons. First, it should come with two O-rings. Second, the old unit was only 8 years old and had stopped working and allowed the pressure to rise to the city water pressure of 120 PSI when no water was flowing. This exceeds the recommended max of 80 psi for my plumbing. I replaced the regulator myself because I was quoted over $800 by a plumber to replace the pressure regulator (a 10-minute job counting pressure adjustment and $115 in parts). Only basic skills and tools were needed, but I did have to purchase a pressure gauge ($15) in order to verify the old regulator had failed and to set the pressure after installing the new one.
