Material is extremely strong. Hoping after 1 wash it becomes a little more pliable. Gave as gift, they love it!

PROS:I love the concept. Whenever I visit family with my daughter, I bring a variety of toys. I like being able to pack them all up in one giant bag, which doubles as a play mat, and then to be able to pack them up again easily when we're ready to go home. I can even store the toys in the bag to grab and go for next time.The road map design makes this play mat extra fun and open-ended for imaginative play.Thick, quality canvas and lined on both sides (no raw seams). The outside of this bag has a cute lightning bolt pattern and the inside is a road map.Hefty rope and grommets - feels durable and well-constructed and I think it will hold up to kids playing on it.I like that the rope is hidden and runs through a tunnel of fabric. Some competitor's versions have the ropes exposed and the rope weaves in and out of grommets around the mat. I don't care for that look and it also seems like a safety hazard to me.CONS:I found it pretty difficult/time-consuming to cinch up the bag, which kind of defeats the purpose of quickly packing up the toys to go.It was also a bit time-consuming to convert the bag to a play mat again. Lots of smoothing out required if you want it to truly lay flat.Once you cinch the ropes and turn it into a bag, the exposed ropes are pretty long and would be considered a strangulation hazard for young babies/children as far as I'm concerned.It's like canvas, so not soft for babies or kids to play on. But soft enough, I guess.OVERALL:A useful product for parents who schlep around toys on a regular basis. I like it a lot. The design is fun. However, I think I will be returning this item because I feel it is overpriced and there are good enough alternatives out there that are more reasonably priced. Additionally, the difficulties I had in pulling the ropes to cinch it into a bag were a little bit too frustrating for me when the whole idea was to quickly pack up.NOTE:I also ordered a "Made in China" copycat version of this bag for about half the price to compare side by side. The photos in the listing were identical to the Play and Go version, so I was curious.The Play and Go bag is definitely superior in quality and appearance. The Chinese version is not lined with fabric on the back - it is only one layer thin and the outside of the bag is plain with exposed seams. The rope and grommets are also a lot less heavy-duty. The canvas is thinner and less pleasant than the Play and Go. I do not think it will hold up as well to kids sitting and playing on it. The canvas is pure white unlike the P&G which is a nice natural beige color.All that being said, if you want an item similar to this one and also want to save money, the Chinese copycat version may be a perfectly adequate alternative for you. The roadmap design is identical except for the lack of P&G logo, it's the same size, and offers the same basic function.(The Chinese version is the bright WHITE one in all the photos)

I loved this so much that I bought two! One for each grandson. My daughter has recommended this to her friends. A nice way to keep small cars or LEGO’s together and then an easy cleanup by just closing the drawstring.

Extremely satisfied with this purchase. My girlfriend has one of the cheaper knockoffs and I honestly wasn't that impressed. After learning about this one and reading reviews I thought I'd give it a shot and am so glad I did! Go with this one, it's so worth it don't buy the knockoff. I'm happy with the size, quality and functionality. Son really enjoys it.

It’s a fun product to use but it can be frustrating for a small child because it doesn’t lay completely flat.

After reading reviews, I was concerned that this bag would be a pain to cinch closed, but I saw it had free returns, so I decided to try it. I'm VERY GLAD I did! It is a HUGE canvas bag, but only took me about 15 seconds to cinch nice and tight. There is still a little gap at the top due to the thickness (read: quality) of the canvas material, but that can be resolved by tying the pulls together once cinched. Also, I had ZERO trouble getting the bag fully open again. The thick canvas lays flat. If your kids are going to be driving cars on the map side, I'd recommend opening it on top of a rug so the bag won't slide around or develop "hills" like another reviewer mentioned. I have 3 and 1 year old boys, and they can both easily drive cars across the map surface with it placed on a rug.

Quality product that is heavy and holds up very well. Great to give or receive as a gift. My toddler loves it!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Both the kids and I love it, they can play and spread out the Lego and I don't have to be a jerk come clean up time, just grab the strings and pull. Magic!

Nice looking mat and a good idea in theory. The mat is nice thick canvas like material but unfortunately does not lie flat no matter how hard I try. My 3 year old is not impressed with the “bumps” all over the road.
