Superior Steel SC10018 5 Inch x 6 Inch Floor Scraper Head Includes Blade

This is the second one of these I bought. I lost the first but not before using it On over 4500 sq ft of tile and Thinset removal. With this one I was able to make my own scraper to fit my 35lb hammer

Bolts fell out in less than 5 min, not very durable, had to replace with hardened bolts with nylon nuts

What I expected

Fell apart every time I tried to use it.

The add describing these two items are misleading since they have nothing to do with a SDS-MAX shank or a HEX shank as this two part system is only a head, bolts, and blade. There is no SDS-MAX shank and as far as I can see on Amazon, they do not offer one. I did buy the 1-1/8 inch HEX shank for 13 dollars which makes this system very reasonably priced. It is designed to work on tile attached to concrete. However, I should note that I use a 25 lb. 15 amp rotary/hammer with a SDS-MAX 2" chisel to remove 3/8" tiles bonded to a James Hardy backer boards. And then I use this scraper for scraping off adhesive and mortar on wood and cement backer boards. Also works great scraping off mortar on concrete. It is heavy duty and takes a beating on my Chicago Electric 75 lb jack hammer. I am unaware of a replacement blade for this item. Great price, well built, took less than 10 days to get. Now we just need a replacement blade and a SDS-MAX shank for this item.
