Great for 8 -16 bit retro games
Works fine. Very light. Almost exact clone of the original snes controller. Good cable length. Buttons react with almost no lag. My kids enjoy being able to play 2 player retro games with them. Excellent for the price tag.

Quality plug and play controller works on Linux
These controllers work great on my Linux RetroArch setup. The quality feels comparable to my OEM SNES controllers. They're cheap to replace if the kids break them. I wish the cord was longer though.

Rough start, good final result
I noted the reviews that said something along the lines of "you get what you pay for." My experience is as follows:- I received the controllers, hooked them up to a raspberry pi emulator, and tested the units- The units worked, but performance was unpredictable and inconsistent- I reached out to the vendor (kiwitata). The vendor responded fairly promptly, and sent replacement controllers.- The replacement controllers worked much better, and we've had no issues with them.To sum up, I appreciated the vendor's effort to resolve the issue promptly.Following is the vendor's email response:Dear Adam,Thanks for your contact. And we apologize for the inconvenience caused to u.We’ve contacted you on Aug 13 and hope to solve this issue after we saw your 3 star feedbacks on Amazon. But message undelivered.Yes, the D-pad seems defective. We are willing to re-send one set to you for replacement free of charge. You are also not need to return the defective ones. The new set has been improved by our factory. Please see attached controller printed “Kiwitata” logo. The appearance of the controllers is the same with the one you got. But it is not the same. The improved one is made of new mold and the one you buy that is made of old mold. The difference between the two is:1. Materials are not the same. The material of the new one is ABS. Good gloss, especially A B button.2. The new one will be more texture. It is a little bit heavier than the old one. High quality feel.3. The new version button function is more accurate, faster response.4. The main difference is the electronic components inside the circuit board are not the same. The functional modules have been improved. We will not let disappointed again. The tracking number will be provided to you tomorrow. We sincerely hope to help solve your problem and give you a good shopping experience. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.Sincerely,Kiwitata

What did you expect?
For a retro-styled game controller for under ten bucks each, they are about what you expect. They're light and plasticy feeling. But you know what they do? They WORK. I've tested a bunch of conrollers at this point and these work well right out of the box.One thing I've found with these retro controllers is the d-pad tends to be a bit loose in the tolerances which causes phantom diagnals, moving up or down when pushing left and right repeatedly. These ones work better at this than more expensive controllers. So, if you just need controllers that work, this is what you want.

Feels just like the originals used to! Faithful recreation
These have been quite nice. I have them for light use at my desk for games and streaming so I haven't seen the wires pull out or anything yet, but I can say that the button pushes feel just like the old set I have in the closet. I know some people say that the buttons are hard to push, but personally these are easier than my original SNES controllers that had some DPAD inputs that were so stiff that it felt like you might have to stand on them to get them to register. By comparison these are smooth and comfortable. All in all, very happy with the price and quality for might purposes.

Working like a charm.
I can't speak to the longevity of it, but it's working as intended and I had ZERO issues with connectivity and given that it was a pack of two, there's value there for the money.

The dpad y axis gives its output as axis 5, and the dpad x axis shows up on axis 1, 2, 3, and 4. polished turd.
The buttons work, but the dpad y axis gives its output as axis 5, and the dpad x axis shows up as axis 1 and is duplicated on axis 2, 3, and 4. axis 0 is just always on. All controllers effected. I don't know of any gamer who would want their game to think they pressed 5 buttons when they pressed left or right! The product looks good, and feels good, but that all means nothing if the product does not actually work good! On top of that while the buttons do work they're in a odd order. X is 0 like some bad MegaMan fanfic, Y is 3, A is 1, and B is 2, so it's in the order that a XInput controller would be, but the actual buttons aren't in that placement, so it doesn't make sense! It's like the people who made this ran out of money making all the parts look and feel awesome that when it was time to do the micro controller coding, and soldering they paniced and had their web designer do it because he knew dreamweaver! Simply put, it's a polished turd.

Good but low latency
This usb super nes controller works decently enough, however the controller has a lower latency than other controllers I’ve used previously. If you’re playing a game that doesn’t require precise timing with jumps it’s a good controller, however you can forget playing things like the Mario series; the controls doesn’t respond fast enough to nail critical jumps. All the being said it is good build quality, doesn’t feel flimsy and it’s just as ergonomic as the SNES controller. If they can fix the latency issue this would be a 5 star controller.
