Shotgun Receiver Mounted Shell Carrier Holds 6 Rounds of 12 Gauge Ammo

This was easy to install on my Maverick 88 and looks good. It seems secure and holds the shells in place. The instructions appeared to be a little different than the hardware that was included in the packaging, but it was easy to figure out and went on in minutes.

I took off one star because in the product video it shows the individual shell holders as a pliable rubber type material that the man sqeezes with his fingers. That is why I bought it but instead it is hard plastic with rubber fingers inside that hold the shells. It fits well, was easy to install and looks good. Holds shells tight. I cut a thin peice of cardboard as a gasket between the holder and the shotgun as suggested by another purchaser.

It's to long on my 870 pump. I am able to load. I used dummy rounds to check. I can't pull the pump back far enough to chamber a round. Which also prevents the hammer from being cocked. It even says made for a Remington 870 right on it. I will be sending it back for a refund.

The shell holder is in fine condition but the screws didn’t get shipped in the package. The package was damaged when I got it so it is possible they fell out put they are nowhere to be found in the envelope.

This is great because it works with the crimson trace side saddle laser, but the holes are really tight on the shells. You got to stretch it out and wiggle the shells to loosen it up so you’re not struggling to pull the shells out in an intense situation
