Obligatory disclaimer: please excuse my dirty mirror and messy bedroom.So, I really LOVE this sweater dress. It is *incredibly* soft and warm and the way it fits is quite flattering—it is a rare find in my opinion.I ordered 2 sizes smaller based on previous reviews because I was worried that if I ordered my usual size, it might be too baggy; which I sort of regret because it is evident to me now that the fit of this product is true to size. I was still able to squeeze into this one (which is a large) and I could probably even wear it out with a waist trainer underneath and it would work, but I’d rather exchange it for an XL instead so I can truly enjoy the comfort of this sweater dress as much as I enjoy the appearance. (Just for reference I am generally a US size 18.) The one thing I do not like about it is the small hood. It sort of lifts the shoulders up when you wear the hood, the way it would if you had a top knot on your head—even when you have your hair down. The hood is definitely more for aesthetic purposes than for actual use.My advice: if you’re going to downsize, only go down 1 size. Going down 2 sizes may still work for you, but it likely won’t be as comfortable as it could be and the sleeves may ride up. I can’t say for sure yet whether downsizing x1 will still look as flattering since I haven’t received my new one yet, but judging by the way this one is tailored,I would venture to guess it will. Happy shopping, y’all!Update: the XL came in today and I’m so glad I got it. The sleeves ride up a little still since my true size would be a 2X, but overall it is much more comfortable and just as flattering.Although I am happy with it, having downsized, I think if I were to purchase it again I would probably purchase my true size.In conclusion: You need this in your life!

I love everything about these dresses. I’ve purchased six colors in total. They’re so soft and warm. The material is thick and durable. It’s so hard to find a cotton / polyester blend that’s of high quality. I love the oversized hood. All of the colors arrived exactly as described. The seams of both the dress and the pockets are phenomenal. I’ve followed the washing instructions and have had no pilling whatsoever. The sizing is a roomy, comfortable fit. These are my go to attire for lounging around the house or running errands during the cold winter months. I’ve received so many compliments on these dresses. I’m extremely happy with my purchases and will likely buy more colors. Thank you.

This sweatshirt is very cozy and warm, very nice length to cover the booty. I knocked off 1 star since the cuffs and the band at the bottom are very clearly a different color and makes it look so cheap when it really isn't. This is mentioned in other reviews. I too cut the bottom band off as it is still long enough to cover the booty without it. Cutting the cuffs on the arms however is not possible for me as the arms would be too short then. The quality and thickness of the sweatshirt itself is very nice. I love the pockets, very nice placement. The color of the blue is very pretty and matches the picture on the listing. Just wish the cuffs and band matched the picture on the listing (it is not even close). I cut the band off and threw away and forgot to take a picture.I am ordering this in the black hoping the cuffs and the band are the same color. If they aren't I will probably return the black.

Okay, this thing has got to be the neatest item I’ve bought in a long time. I love it’s weight and the inside is soft, snuggly and warm. Now, here’s my take on the size for those of you who really want to know about the fit. I’m just under six foot tall and weight about 190. Not a delicate, petite gal by any stretch of the imagination. I read other reviews saying they run large, so I opted for the XL. It fits me perfectly. Not a lot of women out there are as tall as I am, and as you can see by the photos, the length is great, so however tall you are or aren’t, just add or subtract those inches from the length and that’s where it’ll hit you on your legs. I took a shot with me holding the back tight, then one letting it hang natural so you can see the difference between my body and it’s actual fit. I also took one with me holding it out so you can see how much room there is to spare. If you’re on the fence about buying this item, go for it. I’m incredibly difficult to fit and this thing just works. You won’t win any fashion statements with it, but if you’re looking for something that’s easy to put on, comfy, warm and affordable, this is the item for you. I very glad I bought it for my trip to Canada for Christmas, because where I’m going, it gets down to minus 40 degrees sometimes, and this thing is just the ticket for that kind of weather.

I wasn't sure if this was worth $40 but decided to try it. It's worth it! Super nice soft sweatshirt material, well made, flattering. This is going to get a lot of wear when taking my cat out for walks (spot the kitty in photos haha), cute and easy to throw on over basically anything and be cozy.I'm 5'5", 160 lbs, usually wear a size L or XL in shirts/dresses. I got the XL in this and am happy with the fit, it's oversized enough that I'm not worried if it shrinks a bit in the wash, but not too oversized - I could comfortably put a down vest or coat on over it.I like the overall shape of the dress a lot, cute and boxy but in a purposeful way, if that makes sense - it doesn't look like you're just wearing something several sizes too big, but that it's supposed to fit that way. Nice details: side slit at the hem, long sleeves enough that I can tuck my hands inside them if I want, contrasting drawstring, deep pockets.I wish the hood was a touch bigger, I like it when hoods still fit well even with my hair in a high bun and this one doesn't quite do that. I do have a big head though, and it's not a dealbreaker :)

Very soft, pretty thick,,, great for cold weather. Love to snuggle up in this at home. Also wear with furry boots out and about as a dress. Or skinny black pants!!True to size weigh 190 ordered XXL because I wanted it roomy!
