PGYTECH Quick Release Plate +Adapter w/Arca Swiss Clamp Camera Mount for Sony/Nikon/Fuji/DJI Quick Setup Mount with Tripods Adapter

This is an excellent accessory for (literal) plug and play photography. After being impressed with the quality of the PGYTECH Beetle camera clip I decided to add the tripod clamp because the plate is compatible with both. I'm now able to unclip my camera from my shoulder strap and clip it to my tripod in couple of seconds, and by attaching a second plate to the side of my camera's L-bracket I can switch from landscape to portrait orientation in a similar timeframe without fiddling with ball head screws (handy with gloves on). The clamp is well made and looks professional with its silver anodised finish. In addition to the spring loaded release button I love the added locking mechanism to prevent accidental release. And the manufacturing tolerances are great - the plate slots into the clamp without any stiffness or wiggling. Its stated weight limit of 10kg seems true because it can firmly hold my D850 and Sigma 150-600 using either a ball head or gimbal. If I had to complain about anything - and it's a minor gripe - then I'd say the underside of the clamp could have been fitted with retaining pins to prevent it sliding out of a loose ball head. The clamp is Arca Swiss compatible and has a 3/8th recess (with an included 1/4 adapter) for direct mounting to a tripod, but assuming that you're going to leave the clamp permanently attached to a ball head then pins would have provided that extra security. Fortunately you can overcome this by screwing a ball head plate to the clamp underside as shown in the accompanying photo - it adds a few extra grams but also allows you to orient the clamp release button however you want (i.e. facing forwards, backwards or to the side depending upon your preferred setup). If you plan to attach the clamp directly to a levelling base or tripod/monopod however without a ball head in between then the screwed recess overcomes this concern. All in all I'd happily recommend this to anyone looking for a solid and cost effective addition to their photography setup.

I use this on a monopod for quick attach of a fuji XH2 with a 100-400mm lens. It works well, even with heavy lenses. The product is high quality and I like the locking feature.

Well made, easy fast operation . Looked at a lot of plates and clamps.10 out of 10 for this one. Good price. No regrets, highly recommend.

Works great with my camera, although can be a bit fiddly to reseat sometimes. Id recommend it

Well made bit of kit but is not safely compatible with a peak design plate. The peak design plate does not properly click into the clamp and a camera can fall out. definitely not as described

Excellent quick release system takes a peak design plate just fine so all good here. Much better than the more bespoke systems from other manufacturers that I have tried.

Parto diretto con il packaging, molto semplice ma completo. Trovate ben posizionato il prodotto, e nell'incavo dietro si ritrovano un piccolo manuale di istruzioni, una chiave a brugola per serrare la vite e due adesivi, di ottima qualità. Robustezza: La robustezza della piastra è impressionante, molto solida, di un metallo verniciato in maniera molto gradevole alla vista e piacevole al tatto. Nonostante la robustezza elevata, la piastra, così come l'attacco rapido, sono molto leggeri e risultano quasi "trasparenti" come peso. Semplicità di uso. La piastra da fissare al cancelletto è semplice da utilizzare, ed ha un ottimo fitting tramite la piastra a stringere presente nei classici treppiedi. Per quanto riguarda l'aggancio rapido da fissare alla macchina fotografica, action cam o altro dotati di innesto a vite. Comodità: La comodità è IMPRESSIONANTE. Il pulsante di sblocco è facile da azionare, ma non da cliccare in maniera involontaria. La solidità del collegamento è garantito dalla geometria che vi è tra le parti interessate. Non risulta essere problematica nemmeno utilizzando una Nikon D5500 con obiettivo Tamron 80-300. Conclusioni: Consiglio vivamente il prodotto a chi voglia avere estrema versatilità e velocità nel utilizzare la reflex o altri dispositivi senza perdere tempo a serrare viti o altro Il costo è adeguato, anche se posso immaginare come possa sembrare eccessivo. Il prezzo più "confortevole" a mio avviso, sarebbe di circa 30 €

Parfait, l’appareil photo est très bien maintenu. Pour plus de sécurité, j’ai adapté le plateau Pgytech avec une double vis 1/4 sur le trépied. Comme ça, plus aucun risque que l’appareil ne tombe.
