Quiet and effective. Nice featuress.
Features: good. The humidity level this operates at is programmable, in 5% relative humidity steps, with a good feature. (My last dehumidifier was fixed at 50%, and as soon as it sensed 51% it would turn on briefly, then turn back off at 50% As a result it would constantly turn on then off almost instantly, every minute or 2.) This one, if set to 50% will turn on at 53%, and then will turn off at 47%. So this one comes on, runs for a while, turns off and then stays off. Also the sensor is responsive. I got out the shower and in about 30 seconds the displayed humidity rose from 51% to 74%. Effectiveness: good. In the first day of use it collected 1.5L of water. My last one took a week to do this. The only downside of this is the tank is only 2L. I will drill a hole in the bathroom wall and run a drain pipe outside. Noise: it’s quieter than the last one, despite being a compressor type, not one of those ‘electric thingy’ type. It is in my shower room, about 4 feet from my bed, on the other side of a door, and I can hardly hear it. It’s not loud enough to keep me awake, or wake me up if it cycles on. Price: high. Value for money. Good. You get what you pay for. Critical comments. The power cord is far too short. It needs to be 2 to 3 times longer to be practical. The supped drain pipe is bin food. Not bad enough to be problems, but be aware. You will need an extension cable, and if you want to use the drain instead of the tank you will need to buy a drain pipe. The one I got said ‘WiFi’ on the box, with a big tick, and model is 12LWF. I assume the 12L is 12 litres and the ‘WF’ is for ‘WiFi.” It also has a WiFi logo on the control panel with a little dot next to it for a light. I can not get it to enter paring mode. The instructions just say ‘activate the WiFi function.’ OK. HOW DO I DO THAT? It’s like the person who wrote the instructions did not know so just said ‘turn it on’ without saying how to ‘turn it on.’ Edit I have had this for almost 2 months. Winter. Cold months. I drilled a hole thought the wall, and it now drains onto my balcony. No more daily tank emptying. I leave it on ‘night mode’ all the time. My entire flat no longer has damp windows. The toilet cistern is no longer dripping condensation onto the floor. The towel in my shower room is dry the next morning. I am my own landlord, so it is up to me to sort out my own damp issues. I did. I bought this.

Good medium size dehumidifier
Nice, small, quiet but efficient dehumidifier.

Compact and effective as long as the space isn't too big
Bought this to dehumidify the room we dry the laundry, and because it is more energy efficient than many (in par because it's smaller). Does the job, laundry setting runs at full speed, normal runs about half power. It helps dry the clothes by keeping the air from saturating. It's reasonably quiet. The receptacle is a bit small but it's not been a major issue, just empty a bit more often. There's a cover on the bin than minimises water spills when removing it, but sometimes a little does escape. To be honest any device would find it hard to remove 2 litres without some sloshing around, I don't think it's major issue. It has never leaked of its own accord.

Reliable, effective, and actually fit for UK conditions.
We’ve been using this dehumidifier daily since October, and so far it’s been solid. No faults, no drama. In the UK climate, those cheap moisture-absorbing tubs are basically useless — we tried them before and they’re a complete waste of money. This machine actually does the job. It’s been running every day for months and hasn’t missed a beat. It’s quiet enough to live with, energy-efficient, and you can genuinely see and feel the difference in humidity levels. Damp air gone. Clothes dry faster. No comparison to passive tub dehumidifiers. The main downside is the water tank size (wasn't sure at beginning if we will need bigger - and yes, to run for entire day you need bigger tank without emptying the water tank that often) . On wetter days we’ve had to empty it twice, which gets mildly annoying. Another minor negative: when it’s running, it creates a slight draft and the room can feel a bit colder. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable. Overall verdict: reliable, effective, and actually fit for UK conditions. I wouldn’t even consider going back to dehumidifier tubs — they’re trash compared to this. If you want something that works and can run daily without issues, this is a good buy.

Great dehumidifier
I’ve been researching dehumidifiers for a few weeks and decided on this one after I read a review from the telegraph. My kitchen is north facing and feels colder than the rest of the house .i plugged it in and was shocked to see the humidity was 79 ! I’d been cooking with the window open so it just goes to show that all steam can’t escape. The humidity dropped to 64 in an hour and to my surprise the kitchen felt warmer ! If I hadn’t had purchased this dehumidifier I probably would have put on my heating unnecessarily. It collected a lot of water, I was surprised how much it had . It is a bit fiddly to remove the water tank but you get the hang of it quickly. It’s easy to use . I doe’s make some noise but it doesn’t bother me . I haven’t tried it to dry washing has yet, but I’m sure it will do a great job . I will be purchasing another one in the very near future . Happy with my purchase 😊

Top clothes dryer
They say £0.05 per hr to run and they are right works a dream, our box room is now our drying room and this dehumidifier works an absolutely amazing, gets the moisture out of the clothes , the room is like an oven when you walk in, saving a fortune by sacking off the dryer in the garage.easy to move round and light weight, very compact and simple to use also. So 10/10 from me.
