Das WHALE Rückschlagventil, an dem Schlauch unmittelbar nach der Bilgenpumpe montiert, tut letztlich das was es soll, nämlich dass die Wassermenge, die von der Bilgenpumpe abgepumpt wird und die es nicht ganz bis zum Bordauslass schafft, nicht wieder zurück in die Bilge läuft, einfach super!!!

As many others have said, this works perfectly to prevent backflow into a dish washer. The item can be cut to accommodate various hose sizes. My advice would be to carefully check and re-check sizing before cutting the part. Ask me how I know..... I was able to recover, but cutting a bit too much off cost me some time and effort. No fault of the part - all on me. Good luck!

La compré porque decía que era 3/4 a 1 pulgada y no es cierto. Quizá de 1/2 pulgada si es, pero no me sirve. Terminé comprando una igual pero de 3/4.

I love it. I love it I love it I love it. It's perfect. My new 19mm shower drain pump hose fitted nicely over this check valve it and secured snugly with a lovely shiny jubilee clip on each end. Deeply satisfying and a thing of functional beauty. And what's genius about this is that it lets the water flow out one way, and not back the other. And behold my boat shower tray empties in seconds.
