Audio only to headset plugged in and not to panel.
This only provides Bluetooth audio to the headset plugged in and does not send audio to the panel so others ca hear the announcements. It does pair easily. I thought I would able to plug this in into an unused set of jacks and have it heard through the intercom. Not the case.

Nice solution for adding Bluetooth to my iPad
When I first tried this, it had a high pitched buzzing sound in my headset but when I plugged it into my external battery source, the noise was almost gone, then after plugging it into the aircraft, the noise disappeared altogether, even with the engine off. No engine noise after startup. The sound its very clear. I expected some noise with it not plugged into the aircraft. No degradation in sound from the aircraft radio either.I use this for traffic, low altitude alerts and other audio alerts from Foreflight on my iPad.Nice solution for adding Bluetooth to my iPad!!

Too quiet
So quiet that it's almost not worth using it. With the iPad turned up all the way I can barely hear any sound. Very dissapointed.

Double check your devices Bluetooth volume. That fixed my volume issue.
Ok. So I was concerned about the volume level after I read other reviews. I ordered anyway just to try it. I received it yesterday.I am pairing it with a Samsung Tab S6 Lite running Naviator. When I first tried it, the volume was indeed too low. Later I thought maybe my tablet volume was too low. I checked and it was maxed out. Then I remembered that the volume is different when you pair a Bluetooth. I reconnected and checked volume and it was less than half. I turned it up and it seemed to be plenty loud.

Works as advertised. As mentioned in another review, wish the USB connector was the more popular one used today so I could carry one less cord. Battery life is around 3 hours.
