I own 23 Dewalt tools that use these batteries, mostly purchased as bare tools, and 6 of these 6 ah batteries. That includes outdoor equipment like a chainsaw and blower, saws and multi-function tools, and a variety of hand tools like sanders, drills, impact drivers, and lights. Obviously I don't use them all at the same time, so in my view buying the tools and batteries separately is the best bang for the buck, especially when paired with rapid chargers. I love the interchangeability of the 20V max system and these higher-end batteries last quite a while. For example, it only took two of them to use their 12" chainsaw to down a 30 foot tall tree, trim the branches, and cut the big stuff up into firewood. I'm amazed and impressed that I got all that done on just two batteries. So far none of them have died, no matter how old they are, but the price has been coming down over the last few years and I pick up a new pair whenever they go on sale so I'll never run out.

Dewalt batteries were delivered quickly and work fine. The issue I have is that the batteries are identical but one came without Dewalt logos or volt. Not sure why they did that.

This was my 3rd attempt to get a tool battery for my Dewalt blower. Previously I ordered lower cost brand X batteries and they did not work out. All were marked 6 amp hour but they would only last for 10 minutes or didn't charge at all. The DeWalt 20v Max batteries are the real thing! I can blow leaves and debris all afternoon with just these 2 batteries. They are actually 6 amp hours. Another benefit is that I can use them for my ham radio equipment. I connect them to a socket, then a DC/DC converter to set an output of 13.6v and I'm good to go. I can run a 100w transmitter with no problem. The two will let me operate at full power for about 2 1/2 hours. QRP, its all day on one battery. High quality.

I have purchased the contractor's tools from Dewalt recently making the switch from 18V to 20V so I was in need of a couple extra batteries as normally I don't have the charger with me just the tools, perhaps I should carry a charger with me as well
