This item is falsely promoted as capable of accommodating wire sizes of 18-8 AWG. These wire connectors are small and entirely useless for connecting any wires other than very small wires. It is very unfortunate that Amazon has sellers who get away with falsely describing thei products. This results in wasted time for consumers since we need to return the item to a dropoff center wasting our time and fuel. Furthermore, I was not able to complete the repair since the connector is worthless for my application. Had the seller correctly described the item, I would not have purchased it since it will not work for my application.
