These are great with both ends having the clip. I use it mostly for work with leashes and animal carriers and such to extend as needed. Nice size for ease of handling whatever your purpose.

I use these as chains on earrings. They allow the dangle earring to drop down one inch. They're perfect. I'm about to reorder.

The clasps are perfect for attaching a pendant to a chain. It was just what I wanted.

So the small ring that holds the two clasp together is some super soft metal that has an open end so it can just bend apart. A light tug from a kid or getting caught on something is more than enough to pull off whatever you have connected with it.Be careful with your jewelry and these, could be easy to lose something!
