It's a great and powerful tool if your in need of a staple remover on furniture. I'm a furniture repairman by trade and its a great and easy tool that makes life easier. However, it does have a life run. It's not made with super durable steel, so be warned when you use it, most especially daily, it can and will loose its strength and gradually bend untill it breaks. I know this since this is the second time in 6 months I had to get one.

Very sturdy and gets the job done

Great price, but the tip is too thick to get under the staples. (In wood, old ottoman.). It won’t work for this project, but for the price, I’ll keep it to see if it works on something else.

I find that sometimes you have to gently work it under tight fitting staples. Then, work it under all the way to the end, slap down on the handle, and pop up goes the staple. I saw this on Youtube. I used it to remove underlayment staples and it was a wonderful tool. I wish that I had it right from the start as it made the project much easier. I read the lower rated reviews and I would like to mention that no screw is missing on the tool. It is supposed to have the loose part as that is what pushes up the staple when you push or slap down on the handle.

It made my project easier.
