Super cozy
They fit great. The waist ban is not too tight or slides down. Thin so i can wear jeans over them and be comfy. Very soft. Im 5'2 and they go to my ankle bone. I've snow tubed in them and was very warm in them. They wicked away any persperation so I did not get chilled. I've gone to hockey games and they kept me warm. Hiking was great. I would buy again. Update: they get baggy and stretch when wearing. So only wear this as an underlayer under pants.

Warm, cozy, opaque and breathable.
These are equally comfortable lounging around the house (68-70F) and out for chilly walks (35-43F). They are nicely opaque, and wear well. No signs of pilling to date. I’m a pear-shape, currently ~145lb and bought the large. They’re a wee bit loose; could likely have bought the medium for a more fitted look. Because I’m short (5’2”) with short legs, I fold up the bottom cuffs. If worn multiple days (I use them for traveling), the knees do stretch out a little, but return to shape when washed. I wash them on gentle cycle and line dry, or dry on delicate and there’s been no sign of shrinking. Bought two pairs; black and the white/fawn stripes (which are really fun).

Clutch during hike!
When I first tried this on, I thought the fit was a little funny, snugger in the thighs than the waist. But not uncomfortable. I wore these as a base layer hiking to Machu Picchu right around their winter time. Didn’t shower the first night because the water was too cold, and wore these 2 days in a row. They were a very comfy base layer I forgot I had them under my pants, they kept me warm but regulated I didn’t get too hot. And after two continued days of wear, they didn’t smell!! I actually slept with them on the first night too bc it was chilly at camp. Totally recommend these! Great base layer, a little transparent so I wouldn’t wear them alone, but awesome under pants or tunic etc.

Excellent base layer
The wool of these base pants is fine enough that you can wear it comfortably all day. It is still wool, and you'll notice it being a little itchy initially, but once you get some pants on over top, you never think about it the rest of the day. Bonus is that these are machine washable and dryer safe, according to the tag (though I have not put mine through the dryer). Four stars because they're short on me - at 5'9" most pants are too short for me, so it wasn't a huge surprise, but is disappointing nonetheless. These leave several inches of my ankles an lower calf exposed. I wore these over and over on a trip to Europe in February and (with knee socks) they kept me warm and comfortable through miles and miles of walking every day.

First pair of wool leggings
Never been a fan of wool clothing, itchy and uncomfortable. But needed warmer option for winter. Bought primarily as warm weekend lounge wear and these are my favorite pair this season. Soft feel, fits well (size M was true to size, glad I didn't size down based on reviewers), material weight is nice enough to wear as an outerwear and I surprisingly have found myself wearing out on weekend errands as pants - not see through, warm and look finished. Material also wears well, no piling (unlike a fleece pair I bought at the same time). Will definitely purchase more.

Love them so much!!!!
These are amazing! So comfortable and I didn't find them scratchy at all. They definitely do a great job of keeping me warm and dry and they didn't smell bad at all even after wearing them 5 days in a row on a rainy camping trip. The waistband is very comfy. They did pill a bit right away on the first wear, but then didn't do any more pilling after that first day. The only thing is that they stretched out and got very baggy in the back of the knees within a few hours of putting them on, but wearing them as a base layer, I don't mind that. I just wouldn't wear them as leggings alone. Great deal for Merino wool!!!

Warm and dry
I love these! They stay dry and I stay warm. They don’t make me itch like the other material does. I am very happy I will order another pair
