All of our flags come with a foam insert capable of fitting microphones with small shanks (eg: EV-635) or large shanks (eg: SM-58).

like its not entirely glued in that one spot
Got here sooner than expected. Packaging was filled with newspaper, not what I expected from an Amazon seller but I guess it got the job done. One of the 3 corners of the top panel has a slight squeaky noise when I apply pressure with my finger; like its not entirely glued in that one spot. Most wouldn't notice it so its not major. I could drop a little glue if it really bothered me. Also, the width is not 3.5 inches as the description says, its 3.4 inches. It's wider that my previous mic flag, but doesn't feel as sturdy. My previous mic flag of a different brand has a top and bottom panel (which made it more rigid from top to bottom), this mic flag only has a top panel. That's not a negative, just an observation. Once the mic is inside the mic flag the its tough to recognize the difference in sturdiness. The directions which I totally missed says to keep the inner foam in case I change mics, I threw it away assuming my Shure SM-58 would fit :-/ All is well, I just changed foams on my old flag to use with my Shure SM-58 and use my larger mic on this new mic flag. It all worked out in the end.
