Q: Jow do you work the timer? My candle shuts off in a few seconds when I press on the buttone

There is an "ON" button and pressing that will stay on until you turn it off. If you slide the lever to "TIMER" it will come on at the time you slid the lever to TIMER and turn off in five hours. Let's say you want it to come on at 8pm it will go off at 1am. Just wait until the time you want it to come on, ( 8pm) slide the lever and you are all set. Every day or night it will come on and go off at the same time until the batteries run out. Enjoy yours, I love mine.

Q: What outdoor temperatures can it stand up to?

The Luminara Flameless Candle is made of real wax and it will start melting at 100° F however, we do not recommend it to be placed under direct exposure to sunlight.

Q: Candle stopped working after a couple of weeks

I have 8 of these candles and other than the batteries needing replaced they have never stopped working for me. The quality of these candles is amazing. I have also bought many as gifts.

Q: Flame just rocking back and forth, at the same speed it's not pausing or moving in a different direction it's just going front and back pretty fast?

The movement looks very realistic as far as I am concerned. I love this product.
