I absolutely love this top handle. It's a huge upgrade from the cheapo version I was using before! This one from Nitze is beautifully designed and ergonomic so it fits the human form perfectly. It feels absolutely great in the hand and I imagaine it's going to really help me out on long day shoots wherein my hand used to cramp up after long handheld takes etc. The balance point is nicely forward which really helps to balance rigs with heavy lenses upfront... but amazingly so many other manufacturers even get this simple part wrong. With this handle my rig balances nice in my hand even with or without extra battery power at the back (V Mount). The Nato clamp is really solid and locks down with no movement at all. I was surprised to see that the SmallRig NATO rail I had previsouly installed on my Nitze cage didn't seem to fit with this clamp... but I really like the low-profile NATO rail that came included with the handle, and I prefer the low profile of the included rail anyway so all good. I really like the range of professional attachment options... I've got my monitor attached with a Nitze monitor mount on the 3x 1/4 20s on top of the handle, but I might try moving this forward/down or even try a low profile monitor mount from Nitze just to tweak it to perfection. This is the best top handle for the Z Cam E2 and any other rig that you choose to attach to. Nitze is not messing around with this really comfortable design. It already has a cult following online and I'm truly surprised I'm the first person leaving a rewview here! Trust me you will not be disappointed!

I have purchased 3 of these handles for my camera rigs. They are the most sturdy, easy to remove, and ergonomic handles on the market. High quality and great value. They are very secure once locked in place, and for my needs, it is so easy to use when pulling my rig off the tripod. Form meets function.

This is hands-down, THE best top handle that I have ever touched. It is sturdy but somehow lightweight. It has a very thoughtful design with mounting points exactly where you’d need and expect them. The sculpted design fits a hand amazingly well and naturally. It makes for a secure and reliable grip. The build quality and finish are very professional and feel like OEM from RED when mounted on my Komodo. I highly recommend!

This thing is one of the best handles I have used so far. I can easily mount from many different angles and positions. It is extremely sturdy. The angled monitor mounts on both the front and back make it easy to reverse if I need to rebalance with different rig builds and it keeps the weight of the monitor closer to the camera for more effective balance. Most importantly it is quite comfortable in hand. I can use for long periods of time and it doesn’t feel bad. A lot of the top handles I have used in the past are less ergonomic and get annoying after some hours of use. Will probably buy a second one for my b-cam.

Its comfortable and strong. I prefer timber due to metal being quite cold in Sydney winter. Hands down the most comfortable handle I tried due to it being quite thick and those big ridges aid grip confidence. My index finger hits the locking mechanism when grabbing which is a bit annoying but the gap is smaller than my previous handle so Ill get used to it. The angled front it probably the main reason I bought it. I wanted to bag my camera with a monitor attached and the angle allows a monitor to pack lower with a small rig monitor holder, all I needed was 10mm and I got it. Overall height is lower than other handles despite being a big handle. I use with a Kondor Blue Cage and it fits without issue. This cage saves overall height as the Nato is built in. Theis combo lowers overall height by about 15mm.

This is a beautifully designed top handle. Feels perfect in the hand (relatively large and robust) and has a ton of mounting options as well as an integrated nato rail. It’s also just beautiful to look at. I just wish it had an option for a remote record button.

Out of the box the handle felt and looked like it was made from quality construction. It’s a bit on the heavier side, which gave me confidence that it would hold the expensive cameras and accessories I would attach to it. The NATO clamp had a well built quick release mechanism that made a tight connection with the included rail. What impressed me the most were the small nubs placed on the opposite ends of the NATO rale, which would prevent the handle from sliding off the rail unintentionally. I was also able to mount my atomos monitor and light to the handle without any issues. After using this grip for a 6 hour shoot, I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a handle!

At first I didn’t think it was possible that this amazing well made grip would work. But I purchased it on Amazon. When it came I was totally blown away by the quality and the feel. I immediately attached it to my Red One MX camera which is 10 + lbs. it handled it like a feather. And the maneuverability was fantastic I highly recommend it for any set up big and or small, it works.
