This silicone brush is perfect for spreading olive oil. I used it yesterday to spread oil in pans, to cover vegetables for roasting. It was just right. It was easy to wash, too. On top of that, it's cute. Definitely getting more.

This silicone brush is heat resistant, and has a solid wooden handle. It feels comfortable to hold / use. It's just wide enough for basting grilled meat, or wiping fond from the side of a cooking pan, back into the cooking liquid (to add flavor to you cook. Fond is flavor!). The bristles are multi-layered, so the brush is very efficient. It holds sauce well, and allows you to get the job done, of saucing your grilled meat quickly. It also quickly removed fond from the side of a simmering pan quickly, adding the flavor back into your dish, with less effort. No more annoying animal hair, or nylon bristles, falling out of your basting brush, into your food, either! This brush is well worth the purchase! Le Creuset is a quality name you can trust. Ottimo pennello in silicone e resistentissimo alle altre temperature. Usato addirittura per ungere con olio piastra in ghisa su fornello acceso. Temperatura altissima ed ha resistito benissimo.
