Steering Wheel Pawword Lock

This product was recommended to me by a friend. It is very well priced and I am very impressed with how well it is made and how easy to set and use. The bar is the perfect size fitting tightly across the steering wheel and being the right length to mean it is impossible to turn the steering wheel whilst it is fitted due to the bar hitting the door frame. It looks good in place and the combination lock is excellent. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for that extra visual deterrent

A very sturdy bar, heavy but not too difficult to put in place. Numbers are easy to read and do not easily change. Because the long end of the bar needs to go on the inside of the car it is best suited for a lefthand drive. I have a Righthand Juke which means my numbers are seen upside down. Probably why they do not mention this. Anyway, as the numbers are easily read, even upside down, I have kept the item. It does make me feel safer. Oh! it is easy to store under the seat when not used or driving.

Very strong, sturdy steering wheel clamp. Feels nice and solid but compact enough to store under the seat.The code combination is very easy to change to a code of your own choice and the numbers are nice and large so very easy to see, even in reduced visibility.Takes seconds to fit and remove, even with the numbers slightly upside down, and no faffing with keys or risking getting the bunch of keys stolen with the clamp keys on them.My only niggles are that the clamp is obviously designed for the left hand drive market but fitting the clamp at a 45’ angle facing inwards soon overcomes this minor issue. Also I would have preferred a more distinct colour, such as yellow or red, which appear available for the key lock version.Overall, so far very happy with the purchase which provides a bit more peace of mind as car theft seems to be on the increase.Hopefully it won’t be put to the test anytime soon.From what I’ve seen I would highly recommend this steering wheel clamp.

It is a very sturdy bit of kit that should be a good visual deterrent for the casual thief.It is a nice size and I liked the padding on the handle.It comes complete with two screwdrivers which you will need to set the new combination. The first undoes the panel to access the set switch and the second is for actually moving the switch. The holes for aligning the combination are further round the barrelif you have a bad memory like me then write the number down!

The media could not be loaded. Opened this product and straight a way it felt strong/heavy. Instructions were easy to follow and took me about 2min to setup and use. The initial thought I had is what is stopping me taking the set cover off and resetting it, I soon discovered they had thought about this and the set switch/leaver will not move until you have entered the correct code.When it comes to fitting, the photos show the lock fitted in different positions to avoid setting off the horn.This should allow this lock to be fitted to all cars.

Bought this in 2022 and worked well until yesterday (10 July 2025) when combination suddenly stopped working while lock on steering wheel. I spent a few hours trying to unlock but then had to call a mechanic to cut it off Disappointing...
