Our current cheap as chips white supermarket nylon type brush was discolouring. This is common with this style of brush and is unavoidable regardless of how well you clean or use it. They always go brown where the bristles come out the centre to make the brush look mank even if it is technically clean and needs to be replaced for cosmetic reasons only.Spotted this brush and holder on amazon and thought we would give it a go. This one wasn't realy much more in cost than the supermarket one and we had no raised expectations, but prepared to give it a go.This brush has grey silicone "fingers" so should not be affected by the water ingress at rhe centre. It is also easier to clean as nothing can get stuck in the bristles in a traditional style brush. Really easy to clean this new brush as silicone fingers are wide enough for nothing to get stuck that can't be removed/rinsed out.We think this brush is better than our traditional and previous one. It fits down the toilet better as is slightly bigger to cover the bend. It feels pretty stable in use and also for the price tag. Gets under the rim easily. Minimal assembly out of the box - just screw the handle on. Handle didn't bend in use but silicone free to do it's job!The removable bottom of the holder is a great idea as if there are any drips from the brush the bottom can be removed and emptied to prevent the brush sitting inA pool of stale water.We hadn't purchased to leave in the bathroom not expecting it to look nice enough, and have quite an expensive stainless steel accessory in there already. However, even though this new brush and holder is not a top end product we be more than happy to ditch the expensive SS one and replace it permanently with this new silicone set. We think it looks good and does a good job. Would be happy to repurchase this item again. Why pay more.

Got fed up of the traditional plastic bristles and thought I'd try a silicone toilet brush. Ordered it yesterday and it got delivered today. It was easy enough to assemble and I made sure that it wouldn't unscrew while in the middle of cleaning, and seems sturdy for its size.It cleaned the toilet well enough, but like one of the reviewers stated, it does take a bit more work for tougher stains, or maybe use a stronger cleaner next time. It looks nice enough in the bathroom, and I like that the brush doesn't sit in whatever water that would accumulate, and it's easy to empty the bottom without getting your hands dirty. It's a good enough brush to do the job.

Have had a silicone brush before bit the flat one, which was a bit tricky to use under the rim. This is shaped like a traditional brush, has a sturdy base and is easier to use to clean under the rim than my other one, has good flexibility but also sturdy. I like the silicone ones as they are easier to clean and you don't lose bristles everywhere

Good strong plastic. Does the job. Now depends how long will last but all together it’s a decent product.

The brush does clean the pan well, however, after about 5 months use, the brush now sticks in the base and the whole thing lifts up wne you try to use the brusch - very annoying!

Highly recommend this product. Look good and works well well. Normal size (or slightly smaller) than normal toilet brushes. I really like the silicone as it seems more clean

I've had lots of toilet brushes over the years because I don't like cheap-looking ones so I get metal ones and they end up rusting or the brush snaps. I saw one similar to this in a friend's house and thought it looked good so I ordered this.The whole thing was very easy to assemble and I was really impressed with how sturdy the brush was once I'd screwed all the bits together, it feels like no matter how hard I scrub that it won't come apart.I really like the way the holder has sieve-type holes which allow the brush to drain and then you can dispose of the water easily. The brush itself is not quite as effective as a regular toilet brush, I definitely have to scrub for longer but I've also found there's a bit of a technique to this particular brush.It's a similar size to most toilet brushes but looks more streamlined because it's a small holder, compared to an encapsulating holder. Overall it looks smart, I'm very confident in the durability and it's a great value toilet brush.

Difficult to really get excited about a toilet brush, but it was a good replacement to the hard plastic bristle brushes I replaced with this. I'd noticed from using this type elsewhere that the stuff you're cleaning off your toilet doesn't tend to stick well to the brush, meaning you have less 'matter' attached to the brush when returning to the holder, a quick second flush to rinse the brush is sufficient to keep it suitably clean for returning to the holder.The handle is sturdy and assembly is easy. The bristles/size of the brush head are large enough to mostly ensure you're not hitting the side of the toilet with any non cleaning parts of the brush handle.
