Nice layout, very clear, good teaching material, we are getting a lot out of it, my child stays engaged so that's a plus. I've bought others from this brand and they are very good as well.

I really like this series. We use it for homeschool. Its a nice filler for the topics being discussed in the book.

each historical event is written on only page, so it reads fast and easily. there is enough information to get the point of the event, but for the inquisitive mind it does give details that need to be further researched in order to understand its significance.

I don't think there's a mark twain book my kids haven't enjoyed. This one is no different.

Lessons are concise and easily understandable for my 9th grader. I would recommend.

My 10 year old has found this to be very interesting. One of his few home school classes he doesn't complain about. :)

Easy to use readings and follow up worksheets on the the major points of American history.

Excellent product to cover the high-lighted portions of history. We purchased the entire collection and usining with our two kids homeschool US History program. Will want to buy an actual history textbook to fill in the gaps so that the information between the workbook pages flows without too many gaps. Do like the questions and writing assignments.
