Velleman112012C 1000 mA Open-Frame Transformer, 12 V, Multi-Colour

It does easily 1000mA. It should be proper described the red wires are the 230V and blue 12V output. I use 2 of them for my tube amp project and they working well. Its a cheap and small solution instead of buying expensive high voltage transformers. 230V : 12V connected to the 2nd transformer to the 12V leads and then you got 230V output for the B Voltage on the plate and the 12V in the middle fire the heaters of the valves. This 2 little babies are able to feed 2x 2AX7 and a EL84 for around 16GBP together.

En 5mn, la lampe était à nouveau opérationnelle, pour un petit prix!Ceci m'adonné l'idée de modifier des lampes anciennes classiques, en lampes à led. Le transfo représente un petit volume qu'il suffit de cacher dans le bâti de la lampe ancienne. On obtient ainsi une lampe à très faible consommation, bon pouvoir éclairant, pour un douzaine d'euros douille et led comprises! Ce type d'éclairage a une durée de vie bien plus considérable que les ampoules modernes basse conso!

Output measured at 14 Vrms under about 300mA load with an old but calibrated Fluke. Our mains voltage usually measures 245Vrms with the same meter. Pretty sure the meter isn't a true rms one so perhaps the peaks being clipped off by the rectifier are causing the low reading. Mine is being used in an old linear power supply with a bridge rectifier and cap driving a voltage regulator.No instructions but turns out that the red leads are the primary and blue the secondary.As others have remarked it runs silently.
