I am finally done with ^%*&%^#@ in pain tinkering with the wiring on my homemade elevator driven by a garage hoist with a capacitor included motor. I first thought that it was not working because nothing happened but then the led lit up when I actually had a charge on the capacitor. The instructions are idiot proof; ground it, touch a live capacitor wire and it over in a flash.

Good for emergency a/c repair
Got this and a spare run capacitor for my central A/c unit if it goes out. Several friends have been a day without in high heat because the service guy didn’t have one. With this I can make sure any stored power is gone and change it if needed
