Comfortable, nicely made--- gel not foam
I use this on top of the large seat on my recumbent road bike. It sits on top of the foam seat and really does not move -- straps not needed. It is a bit firmer than the foam and works great. This gel pad is a good solution. I ride about 6,000 miles/year. My wife has one also and she is picky and does like it. It does not absorb rain the way the foam seat does. If it rains and the cover gets wet I put it in the sun and it drys out quickly and it shields the foam seat from getting wet. After a year of use it does not show any wear or indents from sitting on it for well over 500 hours.

Comfortable for LONG rides & Fits my EXERPEUTIC 300SR
For background I use this for my EXERPEUTIC 300SR Recumbent Bike. The cushion is the appropriate size if shaped differently from my seat, however, the drawstring draws tight to make the cushion stay put and not move around. As a bonus side note, I'm 6'3" and as another reviewer mentioned this extra height from this cushion did provide that slightly needed extra length to make the pedals a more comfortable distance.I ride twice a day for a minimum of 1hr each and try for longer rides (usualy 1.5-2hrs each). Before this cushion my butt became sore from the bike seat after about 30 minutes. My 1st ride with the new cushion was 2hrs and I felt great! It did start to feel slightly uncomfortable after 1hr but as I kept going this went away. I've now had a few 2hr+ rides and I can say this cushion was a lifesaver! Now I'll be able to work up to my 6hr rides! (I know that sounds like a crazy amount of time on a bike but I have a lot of lbs to shed!)Since I plan on putting a lot more hours on this cushion than most people probably do I am concerned about the lifespan of the device. Luckily this comes with the lifetime warranty so that's a nice peace of mind to have. Hopefully it'll never be an issue but if it does I'll update this post with the lifespan it lasted as well as how well the replacement process works.

Does NOT fit the Teeter Recumbent Elliptical!
I have no idea why this pad is sold with the Teeter Recumbent Elliptical. The elliptical has a bicycle seat. This pad is rectangular. Because of this, the righting cord has no benefit. The pad slides off easily. It does provide comfortable padding at least until it flattens out permanently. This pad is very overpriced and not a good fit for the Teeter. NOT recommended for this, but it might be nice for anything with a square seat.

Big Difference
I recently purchased a Schwinn 230 so that I would have the use of a recumbent bike during the time that the YMCA was closed in March. I found that I could ride the bike for 30-45 minutes relatively easily but I had some discomfort. I had to move around on the hard plastic seats and continually look for a comfortable seating position. I also had some pain in my butt that I did not have at the Y. I thought that this might be due to the position of my legs. At 6'1" they were almost fully extended and the seat was adjusted all the way out. Nevertheless the setup did not feel quite right. I decided to take a flyer on this product 1) Because a previous review mentioned that it worked effectively on their Schwinn 230. 2) The number of positive reviews and 3) Because if it was immediately obvious that it would not work, I might be able to send it back if it was still sealed in the bag. In any case, the seat fit this particular recumbent bike which has a very wide plastic surface perfectly. It was much more comfortable to sit on than the seat itself. It also provided just enough additional elevation to put my legs in a more comfortable position. I just got off the bike after 45 minutes of riding and experience no discomfort. I am very happy with the product. It's more expensive than some other options but I thought that it was well worth it
