I’ve had similar and they’ve been very useful.This is the same principal and is good in that it’s USB C charged. Comes with a base and a holder for the wall.Has two operating functions - one is a manual press to electrocute and the other constantly on. To indicate it’s live constantly it had two sides of ultraviolet LEDS. You just leave it on and forget about it then will hear a loud “crack” as the insect gets it.I’m not sure how long it lasts on all the time as I too mine up occasionally. But it’s a bonus without having to find batteries when you need it.I’ve had a shock of previous ones and it hurts. My kids are frightened of it so keep away from it.There is a protective mesh on each side but it’s not 100% effective on other models. Used properly it’s perfectly safe.Can’t beat a pesky smoking wasp…

I have 2 fly electrocuters now. This particular one was purchased purely for the fact it has a UV light on it that attracts flies and my older one has more power but doesnt have the UV function.It works well. I only had the UV on for 20 seconds and it zapped the fly that was annoying me. Where I live is abundant with the tiny fruit flies as there are hundreds of underground streams that are strewn across the land. This is an ideal breeding ground for these flies and so my house always has these pesky flies in it. This particular swatter is able to electrify these small flies and I imagine it would zap mosquitos too.It's a bit more expensive than other swatters and it's probably no better, however not all swatters have the UV function.

Can stand it left plugged in on light zapper mode or just wack them bugs out the air

Stop working within 1 week of start using. Not charging anymore. Tried to charge with different charger and cable. Waste of money.

I seriously thought this was defective when I went to charge it as plugging it into my standard USB C lead it did not charge. I used the supplied cable with an old 1A adaptor and it charged. It is a shame I have to carry a specific lead and charger just for this swatter as I chose one with USB-C to reduce the leads I need in my motorhome. Other than that it works fine.

Charge easily and do the job well!
