Great gift item for friend that is a veteran. Nice hot sauce, not BRUTAL but spicy! Nice little grenade-shaped bottle and US-made. Great presentation packaging!

The media could not be loaded. Great package and bottles. The flavors meet my idea of what a great hot sauce should be. I’ve been a big fan of unique hot sauces for decades. The effort these guys went through to provide the best USA supplies of peppers worked.

We have not tried the hot sauces yet but the presentation of the set is amazing. We have it displayed on our kitchen table and it makes a great conversation piece.

The General's hot sauces have a kick and the recipient will get a kick out of the packaging. Each bottle looks like a hand grenade and the ammo box got a great reaction on Christmas morning. The wooden box makes a nice keepsake they will remember. The sauces pack some heat, so this isn't for everyone, but for the right person it's a great gift.

I sent this gift to older brother, a Vietnam veteran who has been eating hot sauce and Tabasco on everything since coming home. Being he was a helicopter pilot and mechanic flying reconnaissance missions-something that has defined his entire life, I thought he would appreciate this being a product grown and produced by veterans, but more than that, along with continued enjoyment of burning his taste-buds and throat, (his exact words) he absolutely loved the grenade jars and ammo box they were packed in. Definitely another best gift ever..

The design is nice bigger than I was expecting

5 stars for the design and cool factor this product has. 4 stars because my order had some damage that is likely due to being shipped along with 6 lbs of rock grit. I see some reviews about the cap design and possibly cutting your fingers on it. The spoon design cap is every bit as sharp as a doorknob, the edges are rounded and to turn the cap you should be pressing your thumb against the top side of the spoon to turn it easily. If you are cutting yourself on round edges you need to drink some milk and get some sunlight, the bottle is not the issue. Complaints about the 6 oz. bottle are invalid as it clearly states they are 6 oz in the description. The vinegar being too strong is probably due to the sauce not being shaken well as it states because as in other products, ingredients settle and liquids rise so shake it up. You also have the option and i encourage you to order straight from Smoke Hall Foods and if damaged give them the opportunity to correct the problem. All said, i highly recommend because the price is worth the conversation the design will spark, for the mission it supports, and for the smile it will put on whoever recieves it. And no, i am not a bot and i do not know anyone at or work at Smoke Hall, this is my fair and honest review. Thank you
