Channellock 3017 8-Inch Long Nose Plier, Blue

Can't go wrong with channel lock pliers. Always seem to be a great value. Not the cheapest or the most expensive, but they last forever if you don't abuse them. I got this one because I misplaced mine. I knew the only way to find it was to buy anogther. Two days after receiving this I found my orginal one. I like these because the grips are comfortable and don't seem to be effected by most or any typical automotive related chemicals. They also don't get sticky or brittle over time. They are nicely machined and align well too. good warranty and customer support if you need it too.

Been using Channellock pliers since the 80's and they have never disappointed. Certain names are known for being the best in class items... like Diamond for adjustable wrenches, Wera for electrician screwdrivers, Park for bicycle tools... and Channellock for pliers! You can never go wrong with these. Buy them, use them your entire life, and when you die your wife can sell them at a garage sale for more than you paid for them.

A must have for your daily carry bag! Good size range and a very sure grip! The Best Needle Nose Plier in the World! If it's not blue it just won't do! Well built and can take a beating, you will try to do more than you should with it! Pulling fuses, compressing arrowheads, moving tabs this is the tool you will use every hour of the day. Most days I carry it in a waist holster for easier access!

This review is for the Channellock 3017 8-Inch Long Nose Plier, Blue. They have a very solid construction. The handles are smooth, but their shape still provides solid grip. The only issue I had was that my pair was initially quite gummed up. It looks like they used some kind of lubricant that dried out, making opening and closing the jaws very difficult. However, this was easily resolved using some WD-40, so it's more of a nitpick than anything.

Channellock is the best on the market. Worth the extra money.

good solid tool the minor flaw is that serrations are done only at the very tip of the jaws, the 80% of the jaws are smooth. Keep it in mind when purchasing
