Perfect for Crafting Ornaments
I use these 4-inch cable zip ties to help secure bows while making ornaments, and they work perfectly! They’re small, strong, and super easy to use. The self-locking feature makes them great for crafting, and the white nylon blends well with most designs. They’re durable and hold everything together tightly without slipping. A great find for crafters who need a reliable way to secure small items!

Cinches up
Works as it should. Love the size for helping run and organize wires. They are well made and a great price too. Work well with the little blocks with adhesive.

VERY thin, but good for my purposes
These are decent for what they are, but are VERY thin and therefore not very strong. I do think the 18lbs of tensile strength is probably about right for bundling cables, but it VERY low. To give a comparison your average male has about 100lbs of pressure in his grip, and the average female has about 60lbs of pressure in her grip. This means if you can't press the cables or whatever tight enough within your hand, you are NOT going to be able to pull out a pair of pliers and pull the zip tie tighter it work with these zip ties. I have done that with other zip ties. When I ordered these I had a hard time trying to figure out what size I needed. Now that I have them, I wanted to give someone else a rough guide for figuring out how to size these.I have about average sized male hands. If I take a group of cables and wrap it in my hand like I'm grabbing a pole, an 8" zip tie goes around about the same amount of cables that I can close one hand around with my fingers almost touching. The closer my finger tips are together the easier it goes around and pulls tight, and if there is more than a 1" space from my thumb to my other fingers it is pretty much impossible to close the zip tie even though somewhere around that spacing the end theoretically goes in.FYI, I did not purchase these 8" zip ties, just the 4" and 6"; but I had other 8" zip ties I used with this project. Those zip ties were considerably stronger and thicker than these.I found the 4" zip tie to be a good size to go around a 3' Ethernet cable bundled in 6" height loops, as shown in the picture. I could probably have gotten another 1' of cable length and still easily wrapped it in the same manner. Anything beyond that I would have been starting to push it.The 6" zip tie went around a 9' Ethernet cable packaged in the same manner. I believe I could have gotten easily gotten up to 2'-3' more in this zip tie packaged in the same way, but I didn't have any cables of that length. Anything beyond that I'd have to specifically test to know.
