This arrived as two pieces and the Yoda will not fit into the holes on the base. How do i get it attached?

I had the same issue, what I did was took the point of a knife or scissors and punch the hole where Yoda attaches to make sure the hole is not covered by the material, then it was easier to attach him

I can’t get yoda to stand on mine. Did anyone else have this problem?

Ours disconnected during shipping, so I anticipated needing to glue it back on somehow but it has been able to just be shoved back into its spot and usually stands until it gets knocked. I do still intend to glue it together at some point.
