I bought this as a gift for a 2 almost 3 year old for an upcoming long flight. I assume for will need help or will creat her own way of playing with the pieces. The pieces are very small. I think the price is amazing. I expect unconditionally for her to enjoy it even if it means doing do with her mom and playing with the final product.

We use "Plus Plus" as a travel toy / distraction because it is fun for the kids and a very portable size. I would say it is great for around ages 7-10. The little pieces are durable, and easy to assemble / disassemble. (Keep out of reach of toddlers!) If you were going to gift a little tube of Plus Plus like this one, it would make a good stocking stuffer. My children just build whatever they like with the pieces, rather than following the guide, so it allows for a lot of creativity but I can't comment on how easy or not easy it is to complete the ray figure.

My son and I came across these Lego kits at a specialty store. We purchased one and now we have added to the collection. He is 13 years old and loves Legos and this is the perfect activity to take along on a trip, when you want to keep your child preoccupied for a few moments, or just for fun. The directions are very easy to interpret And kids. Love these! There are also many different objects that can be built.
