It works. I've tested it, but not used it seriously yet. I have one for my A6000 which is power hungry and the reason I bought the device. That works well.

I don't ever write reviews, but felt compelled to do so now. I purchased a FocusFoto Full Decoded BLS-1 BLS-5 BLS-50 Dummy Battery DC Coupler in November from Amazon. I didn't get a chance to try it out until this past weekend. I had been using my camera with batteries without any problems. I plugged the coupler unit in, inserted it into my Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III, then turned my camera on. The charge light on the camera went on briefly, then off, but nothing else went on. Now the camera won't turn on, even with my regular BLS50 batteries. Tried feedback to seller, but that would not work. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone

The issues I mention, are ALL RELATED TO THE DESIGN OF THE OM-D's CAMERA BODY, not this battery adapter itself. Be aware of them, before using this adapter for applications like long outdoor time-lapse. So far, the adapter worked as advertised and no problem powering up the camera and different lenses. More tests needed (after I add better weather/moisture protection). #1 The OM-D E5 is not designed to accommodate a pseudo-battery with an external cable ==> other cameras have a notch in their case & additional seal to close the door and seal cable outlet #2 The open door poses a challenge to mount the camera with ext. power onto a tripod, especially when using the 1/4" thread. It is not impossible but you need to be careful not to damage the door. #3 Also avoid moisture intrusion into the camera body through this open door. At night, dew can creep into many places.
