As a mom with 3 children under the age of 10 as well as being a pre-school educator, we have both Magformers and Magna tiles, which are the most popular magnetic construction sets with the kids at home and our daycare. So when I saw Magformers introduced Tileblox, I had to purchase a set to compare. Tileblox are larger than Magformers, but similar size to Magnatiles. Tileblox clear, clean modern design are extremely well constructed. The magnets feel stronger too. I had my kids compare Tileblox to Magna tiles and they said, "Tileblox are more colorful, and 'cooler' looking". My daughter wants a set of the Inspire colors. Although this is a great starter set, I plan on purchasing the larger 60 or 104 piece set, which have more shapes and allow you to build bigger structures. Great educational toy! My kids and husband love them.

They are fun and the magnets are strong. I think I'm having more fun with them than my son is. Pro tip: in a dark room shine a flashlight through these tiles to make cool patterns on your walls.

I like the quality and the pink colors. I use them in a preschool and my grand kids play with them too. It's funny because when I get them out for my grandsons the adults get right into it and start building elaborate buildings, robots and structures!! Everyone loves them!

The magnets are very strong and children love feeling the tug and pull. Best of all, the magnets are enclosed so they don’t taunt children to try and pry the magnets out of the toy. That’s been the biggest problem I’ve seen with the knock-off brands. These have actually been safe for smaller children as well as special needs children that I have worked with. Nothing else has compared. I do wish they still had some of the originals. I would love to replace missing pieces from my old sets. I bought them when they were still in demonstration mode. These are incredible! And as far as birthday gifts, I’ve had the parents of a one-year-old thank me because their daughter loves them so much. They are great in a cast-iron bathtub, on metal doors & frames, and it’s fun watching them explore and create new patterns.

My 2-1/2 nephew loved playing with these…. I even like the look of them as a fun colorful game to be left out on my coffee table.
