Had an old mouse pad that was peeling and needed replacing. Bought this and love it. I'd imagine you might have issues if you're surface is really smooth (you may have to secure it with double-sided tape or something). The desk I have it on isn't smooth and it stays in its place for the most part. It is the perfect size for my needs. Nice and flat. My old mouse pad was like 1/4" thick, so I like how flat this new one is. Comfortable. Good value. I'm not using this for gaming. Just office stuff.

I had some Scotch double-sided tape on hand, and placed it on the tabletop. I then placed the mouse Pad on the tape, and pressed down on the surface of the pad. It now stays put. I was using cheaper off-brand mousepads for years, but I eventually swapped over to this one. I've used this for three months, and can confirm that the mouse surface has stayed smoother than a cheap mousepad. Not "gaming" smooth or anything, but it's consistent, and it's personally plenty good for me to play games with. The edge stitching has also held up better. A lot of cheap mousepads have really poor edge stitching that snags and pulls out and turns into fuzz, but this logitech one is completely fine. The textures of the mouse surface and the rubber bottom are good as well, and much more pleasant to the touch than cheaper pads.

It’s a great choice. No skid underneath and water resistant and more than just a very good mousepad. It’s an awesome coaster-beer mat. Spilling is super easy to wipe dry on top. Using it as a mouse pad again is easy.
