Q: I purchased the knife roll apron. from the illustrations, my apron should have clips in the waist strips. there is nothing attached. do i tie it? BBC

Hello, I understand what you are saying and I need to apologize for the mistake: the illustration is wrong, there's no clasps or clips on the waist straps (I'm fixing this asap). The reason is that, with any hardware attached there, it would not be possible to fold the apron into a knife-roll. So, the only hardware, besides the clasp on the over-the-neck strap, is two rings on the inside of the apron which you can use to fasten the straps when it is folded as a knife roll. Hello, the density of the fabric, not the weight of the apron, is around 12.5 -14 ounces per yard. if any questions, please, let us know.

Q: Made in the usa or imported? which one is it? is this some sort of new marketing trick?

That info comes from a drop-down menu created by Amazon, and, although we should be the ones setting up the info, Amazon fill-up most of the product's info automatically not allowing sellers to change that. Anyway, we design our aprons here in NYC but we produce everything in Brazil in our own workshop, where my business partner lives and manages the production. For textiles and apparel, any expert knows that Latin America and Brazil have way more tradition and better artisans able to deliver products with a better quality overall than USA or Asia. So, if that info were a "Marketing trick", what benefit could we get from it? I hope you understand.
