The media could not be loaded. We like the fact it only took 3-5 drops and smoked great right away and lasts long. It even smokes when the train went slow. Smells good like smoke and chocolate.

I know a lot of people make their own smoke fluid. This is what is made for your lionel train. You don't use much of it, so why make a large amount of it. I like the lionel fluid. Plenty of smoke for a little money.

This really makes the room Christmassy. The O-rings the engine puffs out will make anyone smile. The problem is the mouth of the bottle does not have a pour spout, and the smoke stack on the engine is quite small. It was necessary to open the smoke fluid that came with the train set (very difficult without getting the fluid on your fingers & hand) and then carefully pouring the hot chocolate smoker fluid into the smoke bottle that came with the train set. Maybe an eyedropper would be a solution.

Very good smoke but still a little scented, wondering if it’s the old stuff mixing with this or not, other than that it’s amazing

My teenage Son loves this! Great for christmas. Yes, it's a scented oil so young children and pets need to be protected from it because it smells edible (keep it out of their reach is a very smart idea). Yes, it is a little messy. It's not really intended for young children to play with. It makes Lionel Polar Express trains look and smell authentic for the holidays. Some of the other smokes stink in my opinion. I am buying bottle 3 this is my 3rd year buying it. My son is using a bottle a year and he uses it sparingly all year. This year I may buy pepeprmint too. great stocking stuffers for an older train collecting kid ...or a big kid at heart.

I've tried mineral oil and WD-40...WITHOUT SUCCESS. This works perfectly, smoking quickly and visibly...

This Lionel Unscented Premium Smoke Fluid is supposed to produce a realistic and dense smoke that adds to the atmosphere of the train. The smoke fluid is also unscented, so it won't irritate your nose or throat.I've used this smoke fluid in my own model train layout; however, it did not work for my train even though it said it would. We were disappointed :(
