Exceeded my expectations. Getting a tripod was really critical.
This helped me mounting fence panels and posts, especially when attaching to ends of block wall that are out of plumb. At night it shined a horizontal level line down the alley as far as I could see.

Just buy it
This is a great laser. I've used it for over 3 years now for construction projects and tile installation jobs. It's made me plenty of money.

Accurate and FUN!
Been using a level, plumb-bob, pencil, and tape measure all my life. This is a better way. I've used commercial laser levels in my younger carpentry days. They were big, heavy, hard to set up, hard to take down, but until now, far too expensive for DIY home use. I bought this one to put up all the school picutres, awards, and other framed items that chronicle the lives of my children. But, since using a level and tape measure by oneself on so many items would be such a pain, (and some laziness for sure), I have only put up a handful of memories. I was inspired by a youtube of a person that first used a computer to lay out her pictures the way she wanted them on her walls, then brilliantly used a laser level on a tripod to align the pictures to match her intended layout. I will certainly use this for that, but after taking it out of its box to make sure it was working properly, and seeing how easy it is to use, I couldn't stop playing with it. Now the gears are turning in my head about other projects I've been putting off, like my redoing part of my backyard fence that I was planning on tackling using a level, some string, and some wooden stakes. Now, things will be much simpler. There were cheaper and more expensive laser levels, but as soon as I took it out of the box, I started feeling really good about choosing this brand. The sturdy cushioned case has genuine active hinges and latches, not the far too common thin plastic pivot points that inevitably fatigue and break after only a few uses. I also purchased the laser target from the same brand, and there is more than enough room in the case to house the target with the level so both will always be available when I need them. The buttons operate with a light touch, it has a sturdy on/off switch, and the battery charges via a standard USB-C cable. Yes! Why so many companies still use outdated Micro-USB connectors is beyond me! the bright green beams are perfectly visible even in a brightly lit room. I verified the self-leveling with my trusty 4ft contractor level and it was spot-on every time. I could go on, but the bottom line is this thing is just terrific!!

It does what it is supposed to at a good price.
Certainly is better than a red light as it is more visible in daylight. I especially liked the remote control as I can turn it off from a distance. It saves me from hurting my eyes & prolongs the battery life. The 360 degree ray is definitely useful with 2 vertical & one horizontal. However, that is also an incumbrance as passers by can get their eyes burned by accident. I get passed this by placing masking tape around the light so that it only beams in the direction I need it. Overall I am glad I got this. My neighbor now wants one... I win, lol

This is the best laser level for the money
I did a bunch of research before purchasing and after receiving the level I can say that this is probably the best available for the money. I was initially going to purchase the makita or desalt, but this is like a quarter of the cost, and has more functionality than the brand names and with similar accuracy. 360 degree laser with one horizontal and two vertical lasers. Even has a remote to turn individual lasers off and on. It doesn’t even matter that it uses a propriety battery since the makita one uses its own 12v battery instead of their normal 18v like all my other tools. The hard case is very sturdy and includes multiple mounting options. I even like the color. It works outside but the laser is noticeably dimmer so you may have issues in direct sunlight but using it inside for flooring or cabinetry install is awesome. The only complaint is that I wish it included a full size tripod, but I can pick one up for less than $20. Save the money and buy one of these. It’s absurd how much the typical brands want to charge for a fairly simple device like this.

So so
I purchased both receiver head and laser, it works at about 30 ft with the laser receiver. When you move further you have so much trouble getting it to work. I would recommend for a DIYer not for someone that would use it more often. I really had hopes for it working better. Also it does not work as described on a bright day FYI. Indoor or on a dark day the laser does show pretty far. However if needed for constant use I would not recommend this laser.

Great! Especially for the value
Purchased for my dad, he was seeing lots of ads with this product and wanted me to order it off of a sketchy website. Looked up the original ones and they were over $250 easily especailly the ones with more specks.Searched for something similar saw that this one had pretty good reviews and offered to get him this. He agreed. Package arrived and it has its own case which I like because it is easy to carry around. Green light is very visible and its great that you can adjust certain settings such as the brightness.Great gift for a handy man or someone that works in construction.
