Purchased this filter for my mustang V6 to increase performance. I was pleased with this product and itsperformance. Car runs better at the top end and smoother at lower RPM. This filter fit perfect in the stockair intake box !! I can only say that this filter is a good price to pay for a lifetime air filter thats reuseable. I like the idea it can be cleaned at any time and not thrown away, saves money, pays for itself!Reccomend buying the pump sprayer cleaning and recharge kit when you buy the filter as its easier to controlhow much filter oil goes on the filter with less waste. Great filter,will purchase for my other daily drivevehicles.

I bought this before a long road trip through the mountains in NC. It lives up to all of the claims. We either mis calculated our milage by a lot or used a lot less gas. Unless I am completely off on milage estimates our GT stang used a full tank less than we expected. For the money even if we only saved a half tank it will pay for itself in one more road trip. FYI, the Blue Ridge Parkway in a Mustang with a bit of extra pickup in the low gears is freaking awesome. It was like I was sixteen again. I would tell anyone to put a high flow air filter on any car, they will be helping the environment and their inner child.

Was looking for something cheap and interesting that may give my car a little more power and reliability. It claims to increase horsepower, torque, and MPGs but It isn't anything substantial. I would say that I can possibly feel a little more power on the mid RPMs but that is about it. It does make the engine sound better since it can breathe more easily. The filter cleaner and oil kit is also needed for this. My tip is to oil the filter and let it sit on a flat surface over night so that any excess oil will drip off and not be sucked into the engine. As a side note, I did not notice any MPG increase but the fact that I can have this filter forever more than justifies the cost.

It doesn’t even fit a 2008 Mustang V6. Don’t make the mistake of ordering this one.

Replaced my stock paper filter with this in my Mustang and man o man does it make a big difference. The engine growls and i feel the acceleration immediately. My mileage has also improved, I was getting 16 MPG now I'm averaging 21.8 MPG.I purchased this as I did not want to buy a cold air intake that required a tune.This is the best mod you can do for your car without breaking the bank.

Normally K&N is good but the rubber pour on from the edges spilled over onto the filter media quite a bit on this one.

I knew from all of my mustang friends that when replacing the air filter for the first time to go with a high performance one. This is the one that everyone on the internet raved about if you own a 05-09 mustang. I bought my car brand new and when I took my car in for its 6th oil change, the mechanic came out and showed me my dirty air filter and asked to replace it (I didn't even ask how much because I instantly said no), but assuming they charged me even $10, then by the 3rd change out of the air filter I could've gotten this one, which is washable and usable for the life of the car. Heck, according to the guarantee I can sell this again after my car is long gone! I haven't had it for very long so I can't say anything regarding the washing part, but it would seem to me no different than washing a dish really, just spray it down and let it dry. Picking the thing up I could tell right away that its durability will make a nice fit for my car. I highly recommend getting this if you love and value the life of your mustang!
