Takes a long time to dissolve but ultimately my dogs loved it
At first I probably would've rated this one star when I first got it, it is super annoying and does not mix with water like..... At all. But there's no denying that my dogs absolutely love this. It smells like pure garbage too so obviously dogs are totally into it.I kinda just figured out a routine where an hour before feeding my dogs I would start mixing this up in really hot water and stir it here and there randomly. After it sits for awhile it will eventually completely dissolve into a nice disgusting blood red liquid that almost makes me physically sick just looking at it. I don't know if I'll buy this again though because its a lot more trouble than what I really want to deal with when I know other bone broth products have the ability to dissolve instantly, but I'll still rate this decent because my dogs totally love it. I only got this one because the brand I normally buy was out of stock, and if it is ever out of stock again I'll be more than fine putting up with the hassle of using this again just because I know my dogs really like it.If you can deal with the amount of time it takes to completely dissolve your dogs will most likely really dig this and really look forward to feeding time. I've had to resort to products like this because my dogs act like pop stars and are above anything I try to feed them. This gets them to eat without issues. And they eat this every single time without hesitation.

Our girl likes it
There were some mixed reviews on this. But, I am glad I tried it. I needed something with a good beef flavor that I could mix with her food to make her eat her meals, which also include anti-incontinence supplement, biosponge powder (for loose poops), nutritional supplement powder, all which I mix into real ground beef or turkey with rice and veggies (peas with carrots or pumpkin with broccoli).....after a bout of antibiotics, she stopped wanting her “dog food”.....wouldn’t touch it.....tried other brands.....wouldn’t touch it. The problem with “people food” is getting all the nutrients a dog needs. And then there is the incontinence supplement, which must taste awful to her (I am going to try a different brand). .....the bone broth is a bit difficult to mix well. I have made a batch using an immersion blender, which works very well. I also made it stronger...2 tablespoons to 3/4 cup water. It tastes very bland (yes, I did taste it myself) it’s bland because it has no seasoning whatsoever, but it does have a beef taste even though it’s very bland. There is nothing nasty about it as a few reviewers have said. So, I poured it over a meal mixture (real beef, veggies and supplements) which she wouldn’t eat before because of the taste of the supplements added (I guess). It worked. But I had to add a good 1/2 cup to her meal of 2 cups of food. She’s an old 13 years and this might be her last year, so doing all this is ok with us. Anyway, I think this is a good bone broth, as it has nothing else added. My girl seems to accept it.

Helps my cat take his meds. I don't follow instructions.
I don't use this product the way they instructed it to be used. My cats Medication is Powder. I take 1/8 tsp mix it with 1/4 tsp of water. He wouldn't drink it as I needed him too. I needed something that could be left out and not go bad well I'm at work or when gone for a weekend (I have a pet food timer bowl). I realized Following the instructions the broth gets chunky the way powdered gravy does (not good) and only could keep the batch I made for 3 days that was too much. I trashed a lot of leftovers. I Decided to Ignore the instructions and just sprinkle very little over his medication and that worked perfect. I've been doing this for over a year. He will be on the Medication for life so I'm grateful for this Product. I'm sure others could use this for any Liquid form of medication.

Gloopy, gluey time consuming mess
The directions are to mix 2 tablespoons into 8 ounces water. I bought this hoping it would be less work/easier than making home made bone broth. I tried mixing the product with cool water and it did not dissolve. I tried mixing it with warm water and it did not dissolve. I tried mixing it in a mixer and it turned into pure froth that never settled. I finally got it to dissolve in boiling hot water (see photos). The photos reflect a ratio of 40 ounces of water to 5 tablespoons product total (*I added 1 tablespoon at a time until it dissolved before adding another tablespoon). As soon as this product hits the water, it turns into a gloopy, gluey substance that requires constant scraping and breaking up against the side of the pan to dissolve. Disappointing because my dogs do like the taste, but I think I'll return to home made broth.

Not my top choice
Like many other reviewers I found this bone broth to be hard to mix when combined with water. As soon as it hits the water it turns into a gloopy mess. It makes me question how “natural” it is. Only positive is that my dog doesn’t mind it. Overall I won’t be buying again and would suggest potential buyers to look at the honest kitchen’s dehydrated bone broth.
