*Please Note: Chip-E is intended to be 3D printed, if you do not have access to a 3D printer please refer to our guide on the bottom of the page on how to acquire the 3D printed parts.* Chip-E is RobotGeek's first 3D printable robot kit that you can build yourself! Powered by the RGS-13 servos and the RobotGeek Geekduino and Sensor Shield components Chip-E is a cute and lovable walking companion that you can print at home, with a friend or through a printing service. Open source design and programming allow you to expand its abilities and truly make your Chip-E unique. Included in the kit is our new universal IR game-pad enabling wireless control with many buttons for performing actions or changing settings. Chip-E's 2x16 LCD display allows for animations, patterns and effects to be displayed at any time and a built in sound buzzer gives you audible feedback and has a growing library of sound effects and tones. Having two legs means he can walk, dance or even shuffle his way around your works pace or play area. Because Chip-E is small and tough it's ready to come along on an adventure and see the world. Show your friends some of Chip-E's moves or even have a dance off between two robots by taking advantage of the dual mode IR game-pad. You have the option of adding multiple RobotGeek modules such as temperature sensors, light sensors, IR transmitters or LED lights. Programmed in Arduino you can customize the source code and enable functionality unique to your liking. With each part you print you have control over the color scheme. Mixing and matching colors allows you to style your robot to make it your own. By downloading a free copy of Sketchup you have access to the original design so you can add / modify parts or even redesign the entire robot!
