Worked like a charm
My kitten is only about 4lbs and was struggling with her cone to the extent that she started dragging it along the ground instead of even trying to lift her head up. I think such a loss of peripheral vision must have made it hard for her to use the litter box because she started going in the bathtub to do her business (I'm so thankful she chose a spot that is easy to clean).I chose this product based on reviews and fast shipping and it didn't disappoint. My kitten was able to move around so much easier and she went back to using her litter box within a day. I had to fasten it as tight as I could to fit her, but it did stay on. I was very happy with this! My cat was comfortable and her incision healed nicely.

Perfect
This cone works perfectly for my skittish cat. He hated the one from the vet because it was sort of heavy and floppy, and it was very hard for him to get around or eat with it on. He would get so freaked out by it. This cone has a more wide open, almost flat design which allows him to see well and be able to eat from his bowl. It is also pretty lightweight so it doesn't bother him or prevent him from jumping where he wants to go. I love this cone for him, as it keeps him from scratching or licking while his skin is healing from a bad allergy flare-up but also doesn't interrupt his life or routine. It also happens to look super cute which is not necessary but a nice bonus. :)

A bit larger than advertised
After my kitten was spayed, the e-collar from the vet was very uncomfortable for her. We replaced it with this fabric version. While the vet's plastic collar pressed fairly tightly against her ears, this fabric covered collar folded away from the sides of her face a bit more, making her much more comfortable while still preventing her from getting to her incision. The fabric was easily cleanable - in fact, I even ran it through the washing machine with no ill effects, however, I did let it air dry.The velcro closure was secure, and the collar was much more comfortable for her overall. The only negative was that the circumference of the neck opening was larger than I anticipated. I measured her neck carefully and ordered the collar based on the sizing chart. In order to secure it, however, I had to overlap the velcro flaps a bit, leaving a little bit of a 'tail' when I put the collar on her.The vet tech who removed her stitches did comment that 'this is about the cutest collar I have ever seen,' so if you're looking for an attractive and comfortable post-surgical collar for your small pet, this might the one for you.

Was perfect for after getting my baby spayed
The cone is very flexible and didn’t seem to be uncomfortable for my girl. Since it is velcro it was also easy to put on and take off. Kitty is only 8lbs and 8months and the cone fit her well. She struggled with being able to see/walk straight with it, and their litter box has a lid/flap, so as you can see in the second picture, we actually had it faced downwards most of the time. Like this, it was still just as effective in preventing her from licking her tummy. She also never took it off herself so I’d assume that means it was secured good! She also didn’t have any issues sleeping with it on. 10/10 Recommend!

Well made
It certainly will do the job if you want a cat that cannot move its neck and is unable to eat or wash itself. Cruel. My only complaint is that it is stiffer than I would have liked. Most of the time a cat does not even need one of these after surgery or a wound of some kind. After a spay the stitches are inside the body. The animal cannot get to the stitches. Licking is normal for an animal with a wound. A collar is only needed if you have an abnormally fussy cat or dog that bites and pulls and I have yet to see one do that.We needed this for a cat with a skin problem. He could not eat with it on because the collar is so stiff and immovable. He basically was unable to do anything for himself. We didn’t use it. We just watched him closely and he is fine now.

Good visibility, doesn’t weigh down on ears
The kitten has a hotspot on back of her head she can’t resist scratching. We tried at least 6 different collars.Likes: Lucy likes/tolerates this one the bestKeeps its shape and doesn’t weigh down on her ears when she walksOffers good visibility while still keeping her from scratching her headWater resistant fabricTolerates this one while she is sleeping and playingDislikes:The Velcro wears out after scrubbing a few times. She figured out how to get it flip down over her shoulders but hasn’t been able to take it offOverall, this has been the best one we have used.

Stays in place !!!
My little guy got into a fight and had a sore on his forehead that he would not leave alone. I didn't want to put one of those old hard cones on him and found this one. Love that it can go up and down so he can eat, sleep and be comfortable. He got out again ! ( I swear he is Houdini) Didn't come back for three days and when he did he still had the collar on. His collar was full of leaves and debris as he must have went wandering in the woods behind the house and the velcro held up perfectly. He is going to the Vet to get neutered this week and I will be using this again.

Still can lick back paw
Unfortunately this is too short and completely useless in stopping my cat from licking his back paw. He was in between sizes and didn't want to risk it being too loose, figuring he's a British shorthair with a snub nose, but after a few days of no improvement on his hind paw, I caught him still being able to lick it by extending his leg. Never underestimate the tenacity of a cat and his need to lick.
