Works great
Easy to install and does help keep heat down but does darken up the room quite considerably too . Worth the money.

Great at reducing heat but unattractive in low light conditions
I recently installed the One Way Privacy Window Film on my bathroom window, and while it took some effort due to the grout lines on the glass masonry window, I found the installation process to be quite easy overall. The product comes with detailed instructions that, if followed closely, can ensure a smooth installation process.Since installing the film, I have noticed a significant difference in the temperature of my bathroom. The heat control feature works exceptionally well during the daytime, making it more comfortable for me to use the bathroom without feeling overheated. Additionally, the film provides great privacy, which is essential in any bathroom.Although the product has several benefits, there is one thing that I wish could be improved, and that is the level of tint. While the shade is decent, I believe it could be darker to provide better heat control. However, this is a personal preference, and it may not be an issue for everyone. An additional drawback to note about the One Way Privacy Window Film is that it looks very dark and almost black at night, which can be unattractive. While this may not be a significant issue for some people, it is worth considering for those who prioritize the appearance of their windows at all times of the day. I cover mine with a curtain at night to improve the look.Overall, despite the potential aesthetic drawbacks at night, the One Way Privacy Window Film is still an excellent product that provides essential heat control and privacy benefits during the daytime. This is an affordable and effective solution that is worth considering.

Big waste of money
The media could not be loaded. EDIT. After 30 minutes I was able to separate the pieces stuck to itself. This process required pulling it apart resulting in numerous wrinkles and stretching. It looks horrible--see video. They say soap to water ratio is 2 to 1. I used Dawn dish detergent. I tried 3 different spray bottles and all came out in streams. I changed to 1 to 1 ratio and was able to get a mist vs stream. I recommend apply as a mist...................Once you remove the clear film it is sticky. I was doing a sliding glass door so I had a long piece. When moving from my flat surface to the window it folded on itself and the whole piece was ruined.I cut a new piece. Need to be extra careful. Took 15 mins to separate the clear film from the window film. They only help you separate the clear from the film in one corner. You are on your own once you cut it. Using pieces of tape did not work. In the meantime my 2:1 soapy water has dried on the glass. They say the more soapy water the better so I take that advice and when I am trying to get on my ladder with the long piece it slips out of my soapy hand and folds over on itself and is ruined. I now do not have enough left to cover 1 of the two pieces of glass.I have enough left for 3/4 of the window. No matter how much you squeegee you cannot get all of air bubbles out. You will get creases that are permanent (meaning it is not an air bubble). If you are not an experienced window film installer, nor experienced working on a ladder or step stool, you will hate yourself for buying this product.Should we talk about the endless wiping of soap off your window?

Worked for about a year, no longer blocking the glare
It was NOT easy to install, but I was able to make it decent, something I could live with on my front glass storm door. The main door stays open almost all day, due to the indoor/outdoor cat coming and going, and was creating a glare on the tv, esp in the morning making it unwatchable. As I said, the installation was NOT fun. I did it myself, which was hard enough, but fighting the pet hair made it harder. I think with two people, and a home without pets, it would be considerably easier.I do have several spots that appeared within a few days with a single cat or dog hair underneath, but although im a perfectionist, I decided to wait to try again, and within that time I realized they weren’t that noticeable, and wasn’t worth the stress and work.I was SO happy with how it blocked the glare on the tv and the privacy during the day. (Can definitely see inside at night)However, during the last few months the glare has started to return. I went outside and checked the privacy aspect, which it still is preventing seeing in the house. But, the main reason I ordered and installed was to block the glare on the tv, and it isn’t doing that not even a year later. I ordered it in Nov 2022, but didn’t install for several months. I can’t remember exactly, other than it was warm enough to have the door open, so had to be at least March/April, meaning that within 8 months it’s not doing what I purchased it to do. The cost would definitely be worth spending again, but the installation is not worth doing every 7/8 months.
