CystoProtek - 120 capsules

I am pleased that I can take this product in place of the prescription medicine Elmiron, which I could not tolerate. Cystoprotek contains ingredients that should assist in healing the lining of my bladder. This is not a pain reliever and takes some time to work. I do not believe people who say they saw an immediate effect. After taking this for a number of months, I feel that it has helped in my healing and the reduction of pain caused by Interstitial Cystitis. This product and one other were actually recommended by my IC doctor once it was determined that I couldn't take Elmiron. Combined with a strict IC diet, I am now experiencing less pain and a better quality of life. There are many supplements that will relieve the symptoms of IC, but to truly heal, you must take something to repair the lining of the bladder and I believe Cystoprotek is a good product to do this.

I have IC and have been wanting to go off of my precriptions for a while and take a more natural approach to healing. These pills (along with CBD oil) made it possible for me to stop my medications (amitriptyline and hydroxozine). It took a few weeks to get the full effect but it seems to be working really well. In the past when I tried to wean off my meds I was in total agony after 2 or 3 days. Not this time! I took one star off because its pretty expensive and wish it was a little cheaper.

This stuff actually works! I’ve tried everything under the sun I’ve also tried, cysto renew I Felt like that made things worse. But like I said CystoProtek really works! Now let’s be honest it’s not going to take all your pain away but it’s certainly going to help you and especially when you’re in the midst of a flareup. I also take it with marshmallow root capsules and that seems to be a great combo oh and I also add slippery elm capsules that helps as well. Anyway I highly suggest this product I know it’s pricey but in my opinion it’s worth it. I really hope it works for you good luck!

ALERT: Contains animal parts! This was not disclosed in the description and I’m a long time vegetarian. The capsule is made from pork and the glucosamine comes from rooster beaks. I spoke to a senior rep in the company, because I was afraid I would get sick taking these, as I have had NO meat in my system for 40 years. She suggested going “low and slow”, so I’ve started with 1 capsule per day. I’ve had some digestive upset which I think is due to my body’s difficulty digesting these ingredients. However, I’m going to keep trying for a week or so, based on the other positive reviews for help with IC. Just be careful if you are vegan or vegetarian.

My insurance deductible changed this year and my RXs were included towards my $3000 deductible. A bottle of Elmiron, which I take for my IC, is $868 a month out of pocket!! I told my urologist I could not afford that!! He suggested Cystoprotek as a replacement. I have been off Elmiron since January 26 2018, after being on it for 16 years and I am happy to say I am doing very well. Cystoprotek has saved my bladder, my wallet and my sanity!!

I have IC (interstitial cystitis) and bought this desperate for relief as I prefer the more natural route. Took as stated on bottle and didn't notice much difference later. I started CystoRenew a month ago and honestly prefer it. In my support group many individuals love this product. Worth a try!

This supplement without a doubt almost killed me. My kidneys and liver feel weird. My head feels like it’s not getting enough oxygen. I struggle to breathe at night so I’ve been getting less and less sleep. Had to throw it out. My bladder did feel better but all the other effects weren’t worth it. Feeling close to death isn’t a good trade off to not even curing my bladder but maintaining its health. I found another product that not only maintains but cures my bladder.

The product is great; the price is too high.
